Great place. Condo within a mile of the marina where we rented a boat. Nice and clean. Plenty of towels and blankets. Shawn was attentive and responsive to my questions. But, you need to know.1. While we were boating, the day of check-in, Shawn hit us with some fine print in messages through VRBO. We like to be respectful guests and like to follow all house rules, but those house rules MUST be spelled out in the listing.Shawn wanted us to observe a “no shoes on in the house” rule, and wanted us to be sure our vehicle doesn’t leak oil. It doesn’t. The shoes off rule is a problem for our family, not going to share why, and would have been a hard no for us, had that detail been included in the listing. I will fully admit it’s possible it is in the listing and that I missed it, but I didn’t see it when I read through it. Shawn, to his credit, replied right back to me that our comfort is most important, where shoes are concerned. However, we want to be respectful, so we kept the shoes off rule, which made my husband incredibly grumpy. Also, he wouldn’t give me the door code until I walked up to the door and showed him ID through the ring doorbell. I did NOT like that check-in process. I prefer far more privacy and anonymity about my comings and goings than Shawn provides. I don’t like knowing he’s watching me when I’m near the door!!!You should stay here, but know it’s a shoes off house and no vehicles that leak oil, and you’ll be watched through the door cam.

The property was clean and in a great location. It had any amenities we need during our stay and it wasnt difficult to find. However, this host was very frustrating to work with. Days before we checked in I was getting multiple texts a day from the host including advertisements for their business. They were contantly messaging me in the app and texting me. Then during our stay it was difficult to relax because it felt like we were being watched. We left to enjoy the lake and hadnt been gone more than 10 minutes when the host was texting me with concerns about our vehicle in the driveway. Almost like they were waiting for us to leave to go check the property. We hadnt been back from the lake more than 2 minutes and the host actually called me multiple times. Then on our check out day it wasnt even 8am and the host was texting me about checking out on time. It was a great place but we would never stay here again. Last note, take every review with a grain of salt because the host offered to pay me to give them a 5 star review and Im sure he does the same for everyone who stays here.

The townhome is new and beautiful and the location is nice and close to all the shopping/food in garden city. It’s walking distance to a grocery store. We had 12 staying here, a range of adults, teens and children and it was a bit tight space wise, but it was only for one night so it worked. I appreciated the Quick and easy communication with the owner. I didn’t love the actual checkin which has you use the ring doorbell and show your ID before getting your door entry code because we’d been driving for awhile and everyone was anxious to get in and use the bathroom and we all had to wait outside for this process which only took several minutes, but it would’ve been nice if we could’ve been given our code the day before and been able to get right in; and if you were to check in really late, I’m not sure how that’d work (also my cell service was spotty in that area so I worried I wouldn’t be able to get the info I needed when I needed it, but it was ok).

The house was overall clean. Unfortunately, It is unlikely that I would recommend this property. The pantry door was locked with the padlock, and so we had to keep our food on the counter and on a small piece of furniture they had. The refrigerator door was filled with condiments, giving us less space to put our things in the fridge. The master bathroom had soaps,and shampoo/conditioner, on the shower shelves, again, leaving us less room to put our stuff. This was a little awkward and an inconvenience when you have 14 people to accommodate to. The thermostat was also an inconvenience because you could only adjust it to a certain temperature for a few hours, so if you were sleeping at night and set it to a certain Temperature you would wake up hot because the temperature had increased to 74° by morning. There was a camera in the garage, Making us feel uneasy like we were being watched. The bunkbeds were a little wobbly And the temp had to be adjusted every few hours in order to keep it at a comfortable temperature. When you pay so much money for a vacation, it is important to half the spaces available to make guests stay a little more comfortable. A suggestion might be to keep your toiletries that are in the shower in a basket under the sink and to have the refrigerator completely empty, and the pantry opened for your guest to store their food so it’s not so crowded and chaotic!!!

We really enjoyed this space! It was in a good central location, close to groceries, rentals, and the marina so it worked perfect for us. Some of the amenities listed are just city facilities and were not available during our stay, so we would just recommend checking on availability before booking if those amenities are important for your trip. Overall it was a great place with good communication by the property owner.

What a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful location! Everything about this place was perfect! Check in was easy. Communication with host was great. Home was just as described. Beds comfortable. Whole house was spotless. We enjoyed our stay with our grandchildren. Bonus was being able to walk the beautiful trails and having the grocery store right across the street. We will be back!

Our recent stay was fantastic. The property was clean, well-equipped, and quiet. We loved the serene location and the cozy yet modern. The owner was responsive and helpful. Th temperature settings could not adjusted for long and it was set at 61 during our mid March stay. It made for a brisk temperature but we managed. Overall, we recommend this property for a peaceful getaway. We would definitely go back!

We had a great stay. The townhouse is decorated really cute and was very clean. We loved that the garage was big enough to get our van inside with the cargo box on top. We’ve stayed at other condos in the area where we couldn’t do that.
