Thanksgiving at the Beach

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation (6 adults + 1 infant) at the Maritime Flower! This is our third stay at this spacious, beautifully maintained beach home. We look forward to coming back in 2025!

Wonderful home

This is a beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. It as nice as it looks in the photo gallery and all the amenities are there. Decks and patios are large with a view of the water. The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Property and Wonderful Host

My husband and I hosted our two sons and their wives at the lovely Maritime Flower this past weekend. We were looking for a relaxing weekend away from the city, and this was the perfect place for our family gathering. The house is beautifully decorated with many amenities such as beach chairs, tent etc. As a bonus, our host, Al, was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this property for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway minutes from the beach!

Vacation in Beachside Village, staying in Maritime Flower

We spent a wonderful week in Galveston staying in this beautiful beach house! The house is equipped with a gourmet kitchen and spacious pantry. All the bedrooms have walk out balconies and attached bathrooms. The residential beach is one block from the house. The owners reached out to us several times to answer any questions we had during our stay. We plan to stay here again next year!

Perfect Beach House

We rented this lovely beach house to celebrate my sister's 80th birthday. It was a small family gathering (6 people) and this house was perfect. It was extremely well appointed and had everything we needed. The owner was amazing and communicated with us frequently. They were very accommodating with our group and really went out of their way to make this weekend special. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Amazing Home

Seven of us stayed in this home for the IronMan race, and could not have been more pleased! From initial reservation to check out, the owner of the property was so gracious, with great communication, and went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of. The home is absolutely stunning with beautiful details throughout. We did not need anything further, because the house came stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, easy two minute walk to the beach, and in an amazing location! The next time we come back to Galveston, we will for sure stay at this stunning home again. Thanks Al for a memorable weekend!

Great House in Beachside Village

We loved our time at the Maritime Flower. My family of eight (all grown kids with their partners) spent a fabulous birthday weekend at this lovely beachside home. The house is just as the pictures show, if not better. The tall ceilings and landscape windows throughout make the house feel open and airy. The kitchen is complete with top-of-the-line appliances and all the essentials you need to feed your family. The primary suite was spacious and comfortable with a deluxe bathroom perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. It was a short (less than 5 minutes) walk to the dunes crossover to the beach making it easy to come and go. Perfect weekend getaway. We will definitely stay again!

Outstanding Vacation at Maritime Flower Beach Home

We just completed a 4 night vacation with our kids and grandkids at this fabulous home! It is located in one of the first subdivisions just passed the the two condos that are on the beach so it is real close to everything in Galveston and everything is exactly as described. The home is just a few years old and very high-end. Everything is exactly as descibed and the communications with the owner were outstanding. The 3 minute walk to the beach is easy and there is a wagon, beach canopy, chairs, beach toys, and about anything else you might need in the lower storage area. Everything you might need or want seems to be included in the house and I think you could literally just bring food, drink and clothing, nothing else needed. The beach was clean and rather secluded during the week and cars are not allowed in that section. We would also recommend Coopers Landing and Katie's Seafood House where we experienced great service and spectacular seafood. Everyone loved the Moody Gardens Rainforest and 3-D theater which is real close. All-in-all this beach house provided just the environment needed for some family fun and great memories.

Luxury and peace of mind

Not only are the owners so accommodating, responsive, and kind - they have thought of everything. While this rental is still exquisite for renters with no children, it is beyond perfect for families. You don’t have to bring anything other than yourselves, personal items, and a love for the beach. As a family of 7 I cannot tell you how much of a relief it is to rent a vacation where the cribs, changing pad, high chair, toys, beach toys, beach pop up, spices, cleaning supplies, board games, towels, linens, cookware, is there anything I haven’t mentioned, is provided. They even go above and beyond with personalized Yeti tumblers for use during your stay. I would recommend staying at the Maritime Flower for anyone who wants a blissful Galveston vacation.

a beautiful beach house

The house was beautiful, clean , roomy and well stocked. The neighborhood was beautiful. The owner provided beach chairs, a tent, and beach toys for the children and a wagon to pull everything to the beach. The beach was a short walk from the house. Our family really relaxed and enjoyed the house. We plan to rebook it next year.

Perfection!!

Our family absolutely loved this beach house! The location is perfect. It's the best of both worlds. You get a quiet, private beach you can walk to but restaurants aren't far away either. The house is gorgeous! Every detail was thought of. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is amazing! Al is so kind and just a phone call away if you need him. We will definitely be visiting again!

Wow! I cannot say enough amazing things about this house and the owner! Al reached out to me before our trip and made me feel welcome and informed before we were even there! Great communication! First off the house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. It was a group of us celebrating the end of the school year with our kids! We were welcomed with a generous gift and balloons! So nice! The rooms and bathrooms are great and has a living area and a game room with games which was perfect for the kids! It is so spaced out and the kitchen and sitting areas inside and out were so nice! A short walk to the beach and they have a wagon, toys, chairs, etc. Do not hesitate to book this house, we will definitely be back! Thank you Al for being so great! We were so impressed with your communication and generosity!

Fantastic House

Maritime Flower proved to be the perfect base for our family getaway. Six adults and four kids had a great time at the beach. The house was amazing and a very short walk to the beach. Everything you need is there, from well-equipped kitchen to beach tent, chairs and toys. Owner is very attentive, making sure everything was as we needed. We’ll be back!

I was so impressed with everything! First the owner Al is amazing and wants his guests to feel welcomed and your stay wonderful! The master suite was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable and there was enough room for my family and a special needs young man that everyone could even have their own privacy! The home had everything we needed and the beach was just a block away and was very private at the time we were there! I honestly did not want to leave! I was afraid to be in Sun too long as I just recovered from stage 4 cancer but the home had a wagon that we pulled to beach with a couple of chairs and a tent where I could sit in shade! I hope I will have the opportunity to go back! Thank You Al for making our stay very special!! Oh and the Sunflower Cafe was delicious! 😎

You'll NEVER want to leave!

This BEAUTIFUL beach home was exactly what I expected and more! Let's start with the owner Al who reached out prior to our stay. He called and introduced himself soon after I booked. We spoke for a bit, as he wanted to get to know his guests on a personal level. I mentioned that my husband would be joining me for the first two days and then I would have my co-workers (teachers) join me for the last night. I told him we were stressed teachers who needed a major break. Lol He agreed and welcomed me right away. After our conversation, I knew I made the right choice in our rental. Upon arrival, I was taken back at the beautiful well kept community. Immediately I felt so relaxed! This place is definitely the BEST vacation home I have ever rented and we vacation in Galveston often. The decor is fresh and up to date. The pictures do no justice. Al was so kind in leaving a personal thank you card and gift........So gracious! Everything you could think of was there at your disposal. Although we had no children on the trip, it is suited for families with children very well. The bedrooms and private bathrooms were AMAZING! Our master bathroom was my favorite!!!!! My other fav was sitting out on the balcony and swinging on the bench swing first thing in the morning listening to the ocean and seagulls. The view of the ocean was a plus as well. It was pure peace! The kitchen was fully stocked and pantry items were available. The beach is a short walk from the home with everything you need in the garage to take with you to lounge and play. There's so much to describe I could take all day. Please don't hesitate on renting. If it's available, TAKE IT or you'll be sorry you didn't make a move. Everyone will enjoy their stay, we all did! Perfection in Galveston

Our executive team from work recently went to Galveston for a working retreat. I was tasked with finding a nice place to stay where everyone's needs would be met and where we could work hard and have some fun. Meritime Flower is the perfect place and had everything we could have wanted or needed for our stay. The house was clean, incredibly decorated, comfortable, and well thought out. The kitchen was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. The balcony off the living room had great views and comfortable outdoor furniture to sit and have great conversations. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spectacular. It is only a short (less than 5 minute walk) to the beach. Allen, the owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive and attentive. He made sure all our needs were met...and then some. I would not hesitate to return and will be telling friends and family about this place. If you are looking for a nice, clean, fun place to stay on Galveston Island, this is the place!
