Beautiful inside spaces at the property, however upon arrival we found multiple dead and decaying birds as well as bird poop covering the entire outdoor spaces and furniture. We notified the property management team and it took hours for them to respond and over 24 hours for them to handle the issue (which ended up needing a power washing). The issue was only handled due to my continued and persistent pressure on the team, as well as pressure from VRBO, who I had to reach out to directly because of a lack of response from the Porter team. I would absolutely not stay at a property managed by the Porter team again, and would definitely not consider them a "premier host" as notated on their vrbo profile. Upon completion of my stay, the team offered me a 50 refund for the "inconvenience" of them refusing to deal with a health hazard that rendered the outdoor areas of the property unusable for over 24 hours. The property obviously did not have a thorough check of outdoor spaces before our arrival, and the lack of response from the Porter team made it a difficult and frustrating rental experience.
