The host was super quick responding when we had not received the instructions for check in message from VRBO when we had arrived. We had only scheduled the day before so there was a mix up somewhere along the way. She was courteous and attentive to our needs when helping. The wi-fi was fast and had good connectivity and the kitchen was supplied with what we needed to make dinner.The best part of the place is the view. It is as advertised. Seeing the sun rise over the Gulf of Mexico is why you rent this place.Some things to consider. The lodgings are a bit more tired in person than they appear in the images for the post. There seems to be some repairs needed that have been done poorly or not at all. The sliding door to the balcony is difficult to use as the door handle is coming off the door, and the vent fan in the bathroom is in need of reattaching to the ceiling.Maybe the most disconcerting thing was that the VRBO is in a condo building, and the front desk charged me a fairly substantial amount to park my vehicle for the evening. I don't see this mentioned anywhere in the listing. It says that parking is available, but it doesn't say that you have to pay to park.
