"Totally authentic old-world ambience, incredible natural scenery at the foot of Ben Nevis and high-quality kitchen. Recommended!"

"God morgenmad "

"I was actually shocked at the room. $200 US a night and no attached bath. Owner needs to make it clear that private bath is down the hall. Receptionist was gracious and worked out a refund for the second night but I would have never booked the room had I known my private bath was down the hall. Room was very sparse for the price. Walls were very thin. Listened to my neighbor clear his throat all night. Just not a comfortable room at all."

"Breakfast was diy in the room, would have expected full cooked breakfast for the price paid for the room."

"Fantastisk stort , smukt og varmt værelse. Indisk mad, hvilket var super lækkert !! Lounge osv dejligt og smukt. Det bedste sted på vores rundrejse !!! "

"Our rooms were spacious and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with large selection. The bar and reception area was very comfortable and with great wifi. Little or no wifi in the rooms. The pool and jacuzzi was very nice. Changing facilities and access to pool needs renovation. Staff extremely friendly. You can walk to city centre in 20 minutes. Overall, we will go there again."

"We booked this property in April 2026 thinking it was one house made up of one dwelling. We booked one night and after some deliberation we booked a second consecutive night separately believing it would be the same property. Upon arrival at the property we soon realized the house was divided into two separate residences, an east wing and a west wing. At no point did Black Sheep Hotels tell us that the property was made up of two residences and that we had in fact booked one night in each...
