"This hotel is an absolute gem. The rooms are spotless and very large by Japanese standards, the beds are great and we had our own kitchenette and washing machine / dryer. It is located right next to the train station and bus terminal but we weren’t bothered by noise at all. The staff is very kind and went out of their way to help us. Only downside is that it is a ten minute walk from the old city center. "

"Everything was fine. Nothing extraordinary but very fine. Beds were comfortable but cleaning wasn’t very detail oriented and we had to ask for extra cleaning. Great location though. "

"Stayed here for one night during our visit to Japan. The hotel is located very close to the train station which is very convenient. Since Takayama is a small city, you can walk to all sightseeing destinations in the city, also the Hida Folk Village. The room is not large (Japanese standard) but adequate. Once we arrived, the hotel provided good information regarding sightseeing places and recommendations for dinning. Overall, we were rather satisfied with the stay."

"We only stayed for 3 nights, but it was generally fine. Nice size room, only downside is the door to the actual room must be very thin as we could hear EVERYTHING out in the hallway. Front desk were kind to lend us umbrellas. We didn’t have any meals at the hotel, so can’t comment on the restaurant."
