Summary:
Discover Far View Shenandoah, a private cabin reimagined from one of the area's original hunting cabins for rest and reconnection. Panoramic views stretch for miles, mornings unfold on the screened porch, and evenings end in the private hot tub under a sky full of stars. Inside, a lower-level movie and game room gives groups room to gather, while a fully stocked kitchen and fast WiFi make it easy to settle in and stay awhile.
🍽️ Gather
The open main level centers on a two-story painted-brick fireplace, with windows framing the Shenandoah Valley and a dining table for six. The kitchen is a real one — stainless appliances plus a Vitamix, KitchenAid mixer, and a four-way coffee setup (Nespresso, Keurig, French press, and drip), stocked with cookware, bakeware, and glassware for everything from a slow breakfast to a holiday dinner. A breakfast nook seats four, and the island bar two more.
🎬 Play
There's room to spread out and play. The upstairs loft adds two futons and a smart TV — an easy hideaway for kids or movie nights. Downstairs, the movie and game room is the entertainment hub: a 75-inch smart TV with soundbar over a big sectional, a second fireplace, foosball, an arcade machine, and a stack of board games, with a walkout straight to the hot tub.
🔥 Unwind
Outside is where the views earn the name. The screened porch looks out over the valley; the front deck has a propane grill and café seating for meals al fresco. Out back, soak in the private hot tub (open year-round), gather around the propane fire pit, or stretch out on the lawn as the sky fills with stars.
🛏️ Rest
The cabin sleeps six across three bedrooms. On the main level, the Blue Room has a king bed and a dedicated workspace, and the Red Room offers a queen and a built-in desk. Downstairs, the Green Room — a king — sits just off the movie and game room and the hot tub, with extra privacy for guests who want their own corner. The main-level bath has a tub and shower; the lower-level bath has a walk-in shower, ideal after a soak.
🥾 Explore
Far View Shenandoah sits in a quiet mountain community near Front Royal — the northern gateway to Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park, both about 25 minutes away. The Shenandoah River, Skyline Caverns, local wineries, and hiking are all close by, and Front Royal's historic downtown, groceries, gas, and restaurants are a short drive for anything you need. A car is the easiest way to get around the area.
The entire cabin is yours — all three levels, the screened porch and deck, the hot tub, and the backyard (storage closets excepted). Self check-in is easy with a smart lock, so you can arrive on your own schedule.

🧯 Safety & Cleanliness • All bedding is washed between every reservation. 🌡️ Heating & Cooling • As a former hunting cabin, the home doesn't have central heating or AC. Mini-splits in the main living area and basement handle year-round comfort, with an additional AC unit in the loft and supplemental heaters in the bedrooms.
