"Very nice and colourful place to stay. The manager, Scotty, and the rest of the team are very friendly and helpfull. We stayed in a small "apartment" across the road. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed to do some cooking ourselves. Free rum-punches ad libitum every afternoon."

"Our stay at Island View was amazing. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to visit St. Thomas. The view is incredible and the experience is private, unique, and intimate. The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful - they assisted us with everything from providing extra towels to scheduling taxis for excursions at the drop of a dime. "If you're not a person who likes big resorts and looks for something a little more low key, The Hideaway is it. Beautiful, well-kept grounds. The room was fresh and clean. The pool and pavilion are in the middle of the cottages, and the beach is literally right outside the gate. My first day there, I had the entire beach to myself (beach is very nice and clean). There is no traditional check-in or front desk and not many employees, so there's kind of just a "honor system" vibe. I did meet one of...

"Et dejligt og hyggeligt mindre hotel, fine områder, pæne og rene værelser og god service. Ulemper er at morgenmad bliver serveret i en picknic kurv udenfor værelset og består af en bagel, en kop kaffe, lidt smørost, en yoghurt og lidt frugt …. Hver eneste dag! Derudover er hotellet halv oppe af en stejl bakke/bjerg og meget besværligt at gå dertil. Når du så kommer på hotellet er der trapper overalt da hotellet er opdelt i flere niveauer og er overhovedet ikke egnet til gangbesværet mennesker....

"I had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill with my Mrs and two daughters aged 5 and 9. Reading the reviews I was a bit concerned about how secure we would be and the state of the hotel, but it all turned out to be exaggerated and we had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill. The family spirit from the front desk to the kitchen and Nephew Thomas assisting was truly amazing. The hotel is very well placed for tourists (in particular Danes wanting to see some historical sites). So can only recommend this...

"I think when you sell this type of room for 4 people it should have a decent sleep couch - it did not. In fact, it way really unacceptable and for that reason everything else (even if really good and with nice service) it just makes it harder to enjoy when half of the family sleeps poorly."
