"The guy that checked me in was super friendly and hospitable. Even offered to help carry our things if needed. It is an old hotel that had been renovated. Everything was clean except the bathroom door. The cleaning service must’ve missed it several times. But everything else was clean. The beds were comfy. The hall way was extremely hot. "I love staying at the Lafayette Inn every time I visit my daughter. It’s always clean, spacious and quiet. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I did notice on this stay that a hot breakfast is no longer provided. That was always a really nice touch. Too bad they changed that."

"This property was a working farm and we stayed 4 nights in a house over 100 years old. We had a large room on the 2nd floor and shared a bathroom with the other guests.
