We had the most incredible stay at Mont Rochelle! We were staying for our honeymoon and it was our first stay in our 2 week trip and now that the 2 weeks is up I can confidently say that we stayed in 4 5* hotels during our stay in Cape Town and Mont Rochelle was by far the best, a league above the rest. "Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink.
Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. The setting within the Winelands is spectacular and Avondrood was a great jumping off point to explore many estates and...

"Amazing stay - the villa was huge, well-equipped, and clean. A separate bedroom balcony & large patio area looked upon a lake and the mountains of Franschhoek - beautiful! We didn't use the pool, but it looked great from a distance.
In-suite laundry was a game changer, and though we didn't use it, the full kitchen could be useful.
I'd say here again in a heartbeat."
