"Greatest stay in Franschhoek ever!! Amazing location in mainstreet, which made us able to walk safely everywhere!! Also staff, room, HussarGrill and facilities were splendid!! The best part was reception and poolside service :-) Very good value for money and much better service than other Marriott hotels we have experienced in South Africa."

"We loved our boutique room with huge bathroom and veranda overlooking the lavendar and pool. The bathroom was quite large with a separate room for toilet and bidet, large 2 person soaker tub and shower room. The bedroom was also quite large and luxurious. The air smells like jasmine and there are nice views towards the mountains. Each unit has a secure parking stall and a remote for opening the gate. "This guest house felt like a home away from home. The fire was inviting and the staff were warm and fun to talk to about rugby and all things South African. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were individual and comfortable."

"This place is beautiful and the villa would have been an amazing experience. After check in, we found out that the water in the bathrooms appeared brown-ish. We raised this issue twice with the hotel, and were told that the colour is due to the water coming from the municipal source. There was no filtering in place. The hotel provided drinking water bottles however it ruined the whole experience. We weren’t able to wash after a long day exploring and even properly brush our teeth. Needless to...
