Graceland Mountain Cottage sits on more than 10 private acres within the Nantahala National Forest, surrounded by quiet ridgelines, old-growth trees, and uninterrupted mountain views. The land connects directly to more than 100 acres of protected Native American land, creating a sense of privacy that is rare to find and easy to settle into. Guests often describe it as a place where the pace slows and the mountains take over.

The home is new construction with an inviting front porch made for slow mornings. Inside, the open living space brings everyone together with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable seating, and windows that look out across the landscape. The two queen bedrooms create an easy place to recharge after days outside.

What truly sets this property apart is the land itself. Well-marked trails wind all throughout the acreage, offering more than a mile of hiking without ever stepping off the property. A peaceful stream sits just a short walk away. The back deck is where most afternoons tend to unfold, with long-range views that stretch across the Blue Ridge and change constantly with the light.

For guests who enjoy outdoor experiences, there is a three-hole disc golf course, a beautifully finished fire pit area beside the house, and an on-site cold plunge. The cold plunge can be filled and used year-round; it becomes especially refreshing during the warmer months.

The hot tub adds another way to unwind, whether after hiking the trails or exploring nearby mountain towns. Evenings often end around the fire, trading stories while the sky turns dark and the forest settles in around you.

The location offers the best of both worlds. You are surrounded by nature yet close to three charming downtowns. Franklin is about 15 minutes away. Highlands and Clayton, GA are roughly 35 minutes. Each town has its own character, from restaurants and breweries to boutique shops and galleries. A few local favorites nearby include Slatey Window, a bistro and winery about ten minutes from the property, and Homegrown Fitness, a well-equipped local gym and spa.

The combination of acreage, privacy, and thoughtful comforts makes this home an easy place to settle in, explore, and reconnect with the outdoors.

Quiet Policy: Please note that the home/estate property is located in a very quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.
