Beautiful cabin with plenty of room and fantastic views

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We visited the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and went sight seeing around the area. The deck is perfect for coffee in the morning or a cocktail at sunset. Looking forward to returning for another peaceful, relaxing visit.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the space the cabin gave our family. We had our kiddos, in-laws and dog in tow for the Polar express. The cabin provided a great location to both Franklin and Bryson City!

We had the best view for fall foliage. The cabin is ideal for a group. The three levels offers privacy while still keeping everyone connected. Every bed was comfortable and the cabin was well stocked with all essentials. The cabin is perfectly situated between Franklin and Bryson City. There was lovely hiking nearby to engage all levels.

The cabin has phenomenal views and has great privacy from other homes. It accommodated our family of 6 very well. Pool table was a hit with the kids. Owner was extremely easy to work with. We would definitely stay again.

My husband & 2 sons thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent a lot of time out on the porches and loved the silence. The kitchen was great with everything we needed since we prepared most meals there. We would definitely book the cabin again!

Absolutely gorgeous views, very easy driveway to navigate, house is clean and beautiful, so peaceful. My family will be back and will try to snag this property again if it’s available every time! Thank you for a perfect getaway to visit with local family and enjoy the mountains in style.

Family friendly, spacious, accommodations met our family needs, and beautiful views. Host was prompt , consistent with reservations, directions, and information. Family enjoyed the pool table and foosball. The cabin was clean but not fresh. There were spiderwebs, ash piled up in the fireplace, sheets smelled stale , and outdoor furniture was dirty. Cabin appeared as if it were cleaned a month ago but closed up for a time. A spring cleanup would be recommended for the start of a new season.

Four of us came down for a motorcycle trip, and picked the perfect location! The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook up our meals, Very quiet and private location with excellent mountain views. Would definitely rent this property again!

Absolute perfect getaway cabin for our family to celebrate Christmas. They had everything you could think of provided even down to binoculars and spices! Clean, quiet, and amazing views. Beds were comfortable! Amazing communication with owners!

Our family met here for Thanksgiving and it was an amazing place to unwind and re-connect. Especially loved the cozy fireplace, the well-stocked kitchen, and the pool table downstairs. Everything was like clockwork, and so thankful to our gracious hosts. Hope to come back some day - maybe when we can tube in that beautiful river.

The cabin has beautiful views in a secluded location. Plenty of space on three floors with three full bathroom. Plenty of cooking untiles. Pool table a big hit. Lots of seating on decks for relaxing. Beds comfortable. WiFi was weak. The living room only has seating for four people need to all more. We look forward to booking the cabin again.

This place fit our time, number of beds & pet friendly needs. It does not scream "pets are here" when you walk in. No odor, no hair. The cabin is somewhat secluded, nearest neighbor is 100 yards away (which I liked) and only 2 other houses on the "street". Bears do not seem to be as big a concern on this side as the TN side. Closest groceries (not gas station but actual groceries) is a 25 minute drive. If you need to get rid of trash it's a 8 mile drive to the town dump. If you haven't been to the area, roads are narrow, winding and often steep drop offs. Locals will tailgate & pass you in no passing zones. Some roads are single lane but handle 2 way traffic, and some areas are gravel, especially headed up to trail heads (like Tellico Rd). Not for the faint of heart. I suggest you have a car that has some power and good brakes. If you drive stick be quick off the clutch on hills. The kitchen has all the dishes and pans you need. There is a good spice rack, salt & pepper was low you might want your own. Coffee pot (cone filters) and appliances all work. Gas grill works well. There is an addictive ring toss game by the grill to keep the chef busy. BEAUTIFUL view of SMNP. Cabin is great, 3 full baths with good water pressure. Light switches all labeled for ease of use. If mapping suggests you take Highway 129 you might want to Google "The Tail of the Dragon highway 129" first.

We were looking for cooler weather to beat the heat, and we truly found it here. The house is beautiful the views were gorgeous. The location was excellent, private, but within reasonable distance of Franklin, which is a very cute town. The house was well appointed, and the pool table was beautiful.

The property is the perfect place for your family getaway. It is incredibly well appointed with everything you could need for cooking and entertaining. The property owners were great to communicate with- we had a small issue (not their fault at all- major power outage)- they were in constant communication with us to make sure we were good. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed the basement and the pool table as well this time. Great place to stay. Dawn was responsive and helpful as usual. Well equipped kitchen. Love the gated deck area. Views from this cabin are amazing! I highly recommend kayaking the Little Tennessee River. We put in at the Great Smokey Mt Fish Camp (boat and fishing rentals) the owner will pick you up where you can drop off your car down river. Nice easy ride down river, some gentle rapids. Relaxing and fun!

We had 2 families staying there. A total of 10. There was enough room for everyone and plenty to do with the pool table, the corn hole game and a closet full of games. The house is well equipped. One potential issue is that there is no cell coverage and the WiFi is not very strong. We had one person in our party that had to finish something remotely for her work and was not able to because of the weak WiFi. However, if you are there just to relax, you will not be disappointed!

The cabin was beautiful. It was very well supplied with the necessities along with lots of extras. It is very secluded and relaxing. We enjoyed all of the games and the nice decks with the awesome deck furniture. We have a large family and there was plenty of space for everyone. Dawn was very responsive to messages and communication was great. We had a couple of babies in our group and the cabin has baby gates we could use as well as cabinet locks and outlet covers. It was our first vacation with all of our family and it was simply amazing. We would definitely love to return in the future.

My family had a great experience here. We rented both the main house and the basement. Both areas have spacious decks with great views of the mountains. You cannot see another house; it is a remarkable view. The beds were comfy and we had all that we needed. Lots of games, cornhole, books, and the pool table. We went to the NOC one day and hiking along Deep Creek another. We enjoyed a couple meals in Bryson City but cooked the rest of our stay. The owners communicated well. Would definitely stay again for the views alone. Great sunsets.

I’ve stayed in many “excellent” VRBO NC blue ridge properties and this is another one of the best! Would stay again. Honestly, pretty easy access and really not too hard to find. Even in the dark. Yeah, would definitely stay again!

If I had to give it one word, it would be, Amazing!! No joke or exaggeration. I want to start off with the fact that when they say you don't have neighbors right on top of you, that is a true statement. It isn't something they add in there to entice you to rent theirs over others. Now, yes, there are other cabins you'll see on your way in. But none of those do you see from your cabin, front or back porches. I think the only sign of "neighbors" we had in 7 days was a dog barking in the far distance, and that was only on occasion. The view, was great. Just like the pictures. I was able to catch a few sunsets in between the on and off rain we had throughout the week. But even with rain, we still were able to enjoy the covered porch and we played cornhole while grilling. The chairs and tables outside were really nice and sturdy. I was also impressed with the outside lighting. It was bright and even motion censored. So when we stayed out later than we intended to and didn't leave a porch light on, we weren't left in total darkness. My favorite thing about the outside of the cabin was sitting out on the porch drinking my coffee and listening to the woods wake up and the clouds float over the mountains. Everything was cleaned very well and things were easy to find due to labeling on shelves and drawers. The TV in the living room had enough entertainment for us to watch when we were ready to wind down for the night before bed. The kitchen was well stocked. They provided plenty of silverware and dishes. I didn't feel like I had to wash every time we used something. My kids ended up sharing the downstairs queen room, but the bunkbeds in the other room were very nice. Both bathrooms had double vanities and with a family of 4, that was a great thing for us. The kids were excited that there were a few games and movies in the hall closet. We didn't watch any of the movies but they did play a game of twister on one of the rainy days. The king bed loft is huge. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the view when we would wake up in the morning. They also have hangers in the closets to hang clothes if staying a while. The road on the way in, is no different than any other mountain road. There is an incline and a few curves. But I will say, we have experienced worse. Pay attention to Dawn's instructions. If you stay here and like Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, take that Hwy 441 drive!! The scenery is FANTASTIC!!!! We loved it here!

Beautiful cabin, we'll definitely be coming back. The wrap around decks and covered areas were terrific for hanging out and taking in the miles of breathtaking views. Beds and pillows are very comfortable (which is important to us) Our only issue was there is no functioning toaster. Other than that kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. We ate out at Lulu's in Silva one evening, which is only 30min drive. Amazing restaurant. Cullasaja Falls is same direction so we combined the trip. We also kayaked from Great Smokey Mts Fish Camp to Rose Creek Bridge (~3hr + excursion) an experience we'll never forget! I enjoyed the views and the gentle river ride but my son and husband fished, pretty good trout and small mouth bass (jerk baits, tube jigs, swim baits produced results) Was a fantastic cabin and vacation! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our Christmas stay at Country Escape in Franklin, NC. The home is cozy and offers a good layout for families. We rented the additional finished basement space as well, which is very modern and spacious. Dawn was quick to reply to all questions and called to welcome us on arrival day. We had no issues with the home during our stay. Views are great and kitchen was fully stocked. All bedrooms had extra pillows and blankets, which was nice for the cooler nights. Travel times to restaurants about 25 minutes and same for grocery store in Bryson City or Walmart in Franklin, which we used for grocery pick up. Gas station is available within 5 miles of cabin. The area is secluded but we made day trips to Cherokee, Bryson City, Scaly Mountain (snow tubing at Highlands Post, 5/5), Dillard, GA (Christmas Eve dinner at Dillard House, highly recommend DH) and Gatlinburg, TN. We hope to return soon.

My hubby and I both said the same thing when we first walked in the door...oh this is so cozy! The master bedroom loft had a TON of room and had a gorgeous view. The bed was so comfy he wanted to bring it home with us LOL! The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, I made our Thanksgiving dinner (the Sunday after Thanksgiving) and had no problems with not having enough or the right pots or pans. We got lucky with mild temperatures during the day and were able to enjoy the deck which had gorgeous views of sunrises and sunsets. The drive was nice curvy roads but nothing too crazy and there were no steep hills, as long as you go the right way. It was so peaceful and quiet and we had an awesome relaxing weeks vacation. Can't wait to go back again!!!! Thank you Dawn & Bob for sharing your beautiful home with us! We give it a 10+++

Lovely, peaceful setting in the mountains of Franklin. This is a beautiful place to spend a few days, a week or more. This cabin is spacious with lots of ammenities. So very relaxing and comfortable. This was my 3 rd stay in the last 5 years and we are determined to make this place one of our families traditions to visit and explore

This is a beautiful log cabin with a gorgeous view. The wrap around porch was perfect for rocking, relaxing and watching the sunset. The view was just amazing! The beds were all very comfortable and the home had everything we needed. Dawn was a great communicator from the beginning, very quick to reply and answered all our questions. Listen to her advice and arrive during the day, it is much easier to navigate. Natahala forest and Natahala riding center we’re about 20 minutes away and offered fun excursions. Our family loved the home and it’s Mountain Views!

We highly enjoyed this place overlooking the smokies. Great view and so relaxing. The residence was very clean and we had everything we needed. Very cozy and the beds were so soft and relaxing and that's a huge plus. Slept very well. Beautiful home and loved everything about it. Walk outside and your by yourself with no neighbors on top of you. Huge 🌟 if your looking for privacy well you've hit the spot.. We enjoyed and had so much fun. The fire place was used twice during our stay we had no problems and it was so nice to be able to sit next to the fireplace and just relax and enjoy the warmth. I absolutely recommend this place. Dawn the Owner made sure our stay was a great one. And she was an absolute gem. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and welcoming us into your beautiful home. This cabin is in a perfect location if you are looking to spend some times unwinding in the mountains. Spacious, clean, and well appointed. Secluded (no neighbors can be seen from the cabin) and a priceless mountain view. Close to outdoor activities (hiking, mountain biking) and 30-40 minutes to Bryson City, Cherokee and Franklin. Will definitely visit again.
