"First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day.
Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef.
On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious.
Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed.
Breakfast was delicious with nice choices on...

Nous y avons dîné et testé le Tomawak: fabuleux! Il y a également un bar, un salon de repos, le tout avec une vue spendide sur le Croagh Patrick et la Clew Bay. "

"Dinner and breakfast menu options were extensive and the food well prepared and presented . Dining room lovely (especially if sitting in the bay window area). Room was quiet, very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Just a short walk into town, which had lots of dining options to suit all budgets. Highly recommended,"

"Super hotel, med alt hvad man tør håbe på. Dejlig pool område, specielt til børn, men voksne kan også få sig en fin svømme tur. Top klasse service på alle funktioner. Første lørdag i mdr. er WCWilliams samlings sted for 1000 danseglade gæster, og det skal opleves. Morgenmaden er super, og det samme med maden i Baren. Jeg vil til en hver tid anbefalle dette hotel. :-)"

"Stayed here for a week as a base to mooch around Mayo where my family roots are. Hotel decor is a little tired here and there but that did not affect our enjoyment or not make hotel VFM. Lots of friendly local/Irish staff, which I think helps to add warmth to the atmosphere and is perhaps unusual for this size of hotel - perhaps because of Westport’s size? Food is great. Had been meaning to climb Croagh Patrick for a while and finally got round to it this time. This is not for the feint-hearted...
