"The beach was not crowded. About a mile from the crowds of the pier but walkable to the restaurants, rides and shops. There was a grassy area with a pool where the patios and balconies faced. There were a lot of families and it was a perfect place for the kids to play. We are a retired couple but enjoyed watching the kids play and having a private spot on the beach. "The 1802 House is a charming bed and breakfast in beautiful Kennebunkport. Juliana welcomed us and was a truly wonderful host. The inn is lovely and breakfast was top rate. Our only complaint is that our stay was so short! We would absolutely stay at The 1802 House again when in Kennebunkport amd would recommend a stay there to family and friends. "

"Loved the "vintage" style of the Inn. Everyone of the staff were very nice, polite and respected our privacy.
The only/major problem is the parking, very small spots and designation of room number to parking spot didn't allow larger cars/trucks to pick a spot where they could fit. We had to work quite hard to get our truck into our spot then didn't move it because of difficulty parking, this hindered most of our sightseeing greatly. Other than parking, the Rebekah was wonderful!"
"Everything is brand new! Beds were extremely comphy, right on the beach with a shower for rinsing coming off the sand. Pool is clean and well kept, picnic tables right on site for family dining options, walkable to everything. We will be back, loved it here! "Beautiful old house on quiet street within walking distance of Kennebunkport centre. The house is full of character and has welcoming hosts. The room (The Study) was downstairs and we were the only guests that night, so was very peaceful. Breakfast was cooked by Chris and was delicious.

"I liked that at night the only way to get into the hotel was with a swipe card, nobody works at the front desk during those night hours so I felt safe. Parking was great and just walking in the area around to get to the restaurants and shopping was really easy."
"Had an amazing time there. You could tell that people who stayed there previously were not kind to the stuff in the room, but overall the room was nice and spacious. Only downside is that we were on the top floor and there are no elevators in the building we were in. The bed also wasn't the most comfortable either."
