"The lady was very nice at the front desk. Her name starts with a J. Jeanie or something like that. She helped my friend and I get a room right away. She answered questions about the room that we had and the check in process was fast and smooth. She talked to us very respectfully and has a very good aura to her. The rooms were standard. They were okay. But it is motel 6 so it’s not top notch. But it’s a nice location. It got a gas station right across the street if you’re wanting to just walk...

"Check in was easy. We had to change rooms a few times due to some issues in the first two rooms. But the staff was very helpful and understanding in making sure it was taken care of promptly and with no issues. The staff was very nice and even allowed for a late check out due to meetings. Overall it was a decent stay. I feel like the rooms could possibly be kept up a little better but overall for being pet friendly and having nice staff it’s a 3 out of 5 star."

"I was not impressed with this particular Red Roof Inn, and I have stayed in quite a few. I stayed in room 126. The water came out brown at first which indicates that no one has stayed in the room for a while. The bedsheets were torn, and had permanent marker writing on them as to perhaps indicate which side was up and down for proper folding or placement on the beds, and also blue stains which tells me the detergent wasn't washed out properly. "Stayed 1 night with our family of 5 while on our way through to Maine. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly/ helpful. Room was clean and as described. We appreciated the fact that there was a door that could be closed separating the bedroom from the lounge area. The kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast was great! Two things that would make the room better would be a clock in the bedroom and a nightlight in the bathroom. The traffic from the highway was loud due to us being in a room...

"A well maintained hotel, clean rooms, modern bathroom. Plenty of choices for breakfast. We stayed 2 nights, had to ask for fresh towels as they offer room service every other day for multiple day stays. I wish there were more hooks/bars for the towels. There’s only a tiny double one on the back of the bathroom door. Definitely recommend staying there."

"The hotel was very clean. We stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast was very good and varied a little from day to day. The only reason I would not stay here again is the design of the bathroom. There was a sliding barn door that covered the bathroom and closet. It did not close all the way so there was a crack where you could see someone on the toilet or getting in the shower. If you were on the toilet you could see straight to the pillows on the closest bed. It was a terrible design for privacy....

"I stayed at Penn Harris for one week. There is an outdoor pool (I didn’t use) that looked nice. I like that there was plenty of parking, a restaurant and bar at the hotel. What I didn’t like was that they only had cable TV with a few channels, no laundry facilities on site, no elevator, rooms are dated and dark, and hotel smells musky."
