Spahoteller i Fort Augustus

"Modest room. Poor communication with hotel, you have to carry up your luggage a flight of stairs. Good to know if you’re brining hiking gear. Pillows were the worst I’ve ever tried. Like lumps of stone, all too hard and the foam as dissolved into rock formations in the pillows, given you an uneven way to rest your head. Ruined Christmas. Would not come back. Room was clean though. Bought a coffee the day after downstairs and the ladies were too busy laughing and gossiping with the locals instead...

"We stayed while walking the Great Glen Way, and it is right on the route. It is a large friendly hostel. Our room had two sets of very comfortable bunk beds. "

"Rigtig specielt hotel i gammel kloster som er renoveret med stor respekt for det originale. Vi boede i AC 15. Kæmpe lejlighed med alt i udstyr, to lækre badeværelser og fantastisk udsigt over Loch Ness. Smukt sted og fantastisk atmosfære. "

"Ich war zum zweiten Mal im Highland Club und ich werde ganz sicher wiederkommen. Die komplette Anlage ist einfach wunderschön und ideal zum erholen. "

"We had a wonderful time at the Abbey. The host and staff were so accommodating, adjusting their schedule due to our delays and highly responsive. The views were wonderful and our three boys loved playing chess in the courtyard and wandering the grounds. A great location for excursions to Inverness, Ullapool, Fort Williams, or to just relax. Wonderful cafe nearby at the lochs. Very memorable trip and would come again."

"Dejligt feriested med gode udenoms faciliteter og med en fantastisk placering ved Fort Augustus og Loch Nees. Billederne som vi fik forevist, da vi bookede via VRBO, stemte desværre ikke overens med de faktiske forhold i den lejlighed, som vi fik tildelt. Det ene badeværelse og selve master bedroom var placeret i et tidligere krudtlager, og der var INGEN vinduer i rummene og ingen dør mellem rummene. Der var ikke en velfungerende ventialtion, og der blev meget fugtigt og tøj og sengetøj blev...

"This is an amazing space in a really cool area! Wished we could have stayed here longer to enjoy the pool. NOTE: the pool is only open from 9am-6pm and you sign up for a one hour time slot. By the time we had the option to sign in and reserve something there was nothing left that worked in our schedule. That was really the only disappointment."
