Families will love the easy access to local attractions such as Paultons Park amusement park (11 miles) and Marwell Zoo (24 miles). Are there history lovers among you? Don’t miss a trip to Salisbury Cathedral (9 miles), where you can see Britain’s tallest spire, explore Britain’s largest Cathedral Close and Cloisters, see the world’s oldest mechanical clock and the best-preserved original 1215 Magna Carta. You can also go horse riding for an equestrian discovery of the area’s scenic trails.

On arrival, a few gentle steps lead you up to the cottage, where a warm and welcoming atmosphere sets the tone. The open-plan living area combines rustic charm and modern comfort, with exposed beams, comfortable seating for four and a Smart TV – excellent for relaxed evenings. In the dining area, complete with a wooden-topped table, you can play board games and eat tasty meals, cooked up in the well-equipped kitchen which sits in one corner. French doors let in plenty of natural light and open directly onto the terrace, making it simple to enjoy al fresco breakfasts or evening drinks. If you’re holidaying with friends or family in the neighbouring cottage, an internal door between the lounges can be unlocked to connect the two properties.
