And after the hot water was running in the tub there was no way to get the cold water running. Except for this, a comfy bed and nice breakfast made this a nice stop along the way. "

The shower was the only downside--it was very hard to get the water to turn on and the water pressure was weak."

"Ah, what a gem of a place! A bit off the beaten track, but that's exactly what I was looking for and the Galley of Lorn did not disappoint.
The overall air is casual, the staff are friendly and chatty, and nothing is too much trouble.
The whole interior looks fairly recently updated, but it's left with enough older features to retain some character.
The rooms are all named after Scottish islands, and we stayed in Skye. The room is black and gold decor, done well, not at all overstated. Usual...

"A really unique and beautiful B&B a short walk from Inveraray town centre. Rob was a great and kind host, and tended to our every need. We stayed in the Cairngorm Suite, a beautiful room with everything you could need and more, and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was also to a high standard with great local produce. Would highly recommmend and would love to stay again!"
