We are in an almost exclusively pedestrian street (only taxis and residents can access it), so if you have a car it is better to park it in a public car park on the outskirts and take a taxi: no car is necessary for the best visit of the City and getting around on foot from here is a pleasure....we are in the centre of the oldest heart of the City and no distance between our Suite and the main monuments exceeds 2 and a half kilometres (about 14/15 minutes on foot).
Despite the location 300 metres from the Ponte Vecchio and the lively San Niccolò quarter, silence envelops these houses, and in the morning you will hear the birds singing from the gardens all around.
The sun makes the flat bright, and the street it overlooks, Costa San Giorgio, is very quiet, walked every day by enchanted visitors going up to Forte Belvedere or Villa Bardini, or down to Ponte Vecchio.
As you enter you will find a bright living room, with sofa, dinette, Smart Tv and FTTH Internet, kitchenette (fridge and two burners, and everything you need to prepare a romantic dinner) and then Nespresso, toaster, kettle, water purification jug so you don't have to carry heavy bottles of mineral water uphill, as well as a washer-dryer, mini dishwasher, drying rack and iron and ironing board..... Even if you arrive tired or late, as a welcome you will find what you need to prepare breakfast the next day.
The furnishings are in tones of black and white, natural wood, with touches of blue and orange; the rooms are both air-conditioned, and there is also a ceiling fan in the room for those who do not like air-conditioning; the linen offers the best pure cotton for the sheets and Frette sponges for the bathroom. The flat is for two, maximum three people: the room gives the impression of being a huge cosy bed (a real king bed with high mattresses, very comfortable) with blackout curtains and windows fitted with mosquito nets, and another big screen TV.Even if you arrive tired or late, as a welcome you will find the necessary to prepare your breakfast the next day. The furnishings are in shades of white and gray and natural wood, equipped with mini air conditioners in every room; the linen equipment offers the best pure cotton for the sheets and Frette towels for the bathroom. The apartment is for two max four persons: the bedroom gives the impression of being a huge cozy bed (a real king bed with high, very comfortable mattresses) with blackout curtains and windows with mosquito nets.
Access
Like any precious thing, it has to be earned, but the climb (or descent) to get to this flat will be immediately forgotten as soon as you enter this small building that welcomes visitors with an entrance hall furnished like a living room at home, with armchairs and furniture and large plants: from here you go up to the first floor with a short flight of stairs (15 steps). It is an intimate and cosy place, with a warm atmosphere due to the owner's personal touches of taste and attention to detail, which make guests feel at home away from home from the first time they enter.
When you arrive, whether you leave your car in a suburban car park or arrive by train or bus, we recommend that you do not walk the distance (even if it looks short on the Google Map).... If you have luggage you will arrive in a hurry and remember that the last stretch is uphill!
