Vi ankom omkring kl 14 og fik straks vores værelse - meget lækker der var alt det der skal være. Sjov lille ting var at sæben var en golfbold.
Vi havde 4 rigtige skønne overnatninger på AC Hotel. Vi var en smule nervøse for, at hotellet lå fra langt fra centrum, men det gjorde det overhovedet ikke, tværimod lå det i gåafstand til det hele. Og så var det skønt, at det ikke lå midt i centrum, da der så var dejligt fredeligt om aftenen. Vi fik en virkelig god service, og værelserne og faciliteterne var virkelig super.
Our first impression of this hotel as we walked through the revolving doors, was that we had chosen a modern and high quality hotel. After a quick check in after a long day's travel, we looked forward too the mini bar which we were told was complementary (free of charge). Our desires for a cold beer were soon shattered as the mini bar was non-alcoholic - not quite what we had in mind. Breakfast didn't meet with expectations neither did the kitchen and restaurant service. I suspect the coffee was made with "instant coffee" even the capuchino, something I think was impossible to conceive in Italy. The scrambled eggs with sausages and bacon was all served in steel casseroles, which had the effect that both sausages and bacon was boiled. The eggs didn't look right more like pure egg yolk. A kitchen has a major problem, if the cook is unable to make a recipe as simple as scrambled eggs with sausages and bacon. The staff didn't react professional when this was brought to their attention, which perhaps was mainly to their lack of mastery of English. When asked for a deck of cards, we was first presented with the menu for the kitchen and secondly with a map over Florance. In general the staff lacked the professional smile and service mindedness one would expect from a 4 star hotel. In general the staff lacked either training or experience or a present hotel management to keep up the standard. The room in it self though, was very nice with a high quality bathroom with a comfortable bath tub.
Super hotel der virkelig levede op til forventningerne til et 4-stjernet hotel.
