"Given the lack of other accommodation available in Port Elliot, the rate is rather high for a Youth Hostel. Room was a bit stuffy and had to keep the window open and the fan going to get rid of the musty smell. Very small ensuite and shower."

"There were not a lot of options in the area so we chose the Lady Bay. Great views over the beach and golf course and nice and quiet at night. Staff were lovely and bar and restaurant excellent. Sadly the place needs a bit of work and the ducted air con was noisy and blew too much air in the bedroom. There were no insect screens on the sliding doors so made life difficult without the air con. Shower was fantastic. Need a mattress topper on the King beds too."

"We stayed in an apartment with 2 rooms. One room did not have a window, but one door that led to a room that was used for storing old mattresses and other discarded furniture. Very strange.The apartment itself had not seen cleaning for a long time. The service from the reception and restaurant was ok"
