"We have just returned from a week in this delightful cottage. Louise has provided everything that you would need, especially the helpful plugs on the dressing table, excellent idea! I must mention the wonderful shower too, which was so powerful.The place was spotless and looks even better in the flesh. It’s perfectly situated for the town, bus/train station and supermarkets. "The josie was as described, nice and clean and in a good location not far from amenities. We were a party of 12 and it was plenty big enough, lots of toilets/bethrooms. Would definitely recommend. Had one issue with the TV not working which was resolved promptly by the property manager. "

"We've just spent a wonderful week at Shoe ButtonsCottage. From the moment we stepped in through the door we felt immediately at home. The enclosed front and rear gardens were ideal for our Cocker Spaniel. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the patio in the sunshine in the afternoon as the sun went down - lovely views across the fields. The short walk to the beautiful beach and coastal path is a real bonus. We will definitely be returning- thanks to Paul and Emma for a wonderful stay!"

"Great house to stay in. Beds were comfy and everyone slept well. Really well equipped for all your needs. Key collect worked well. Bit of a faff not being able to park but the station carpark is only a few minutes walk. Super close to the beach although it's a steep walk back up the hill. Overall we enjoyed our stay but couldn't get a walk in table to any pub so book ahead! "

"Very nice apartment very cosy "

"The Front door is scruffy and uninviting. There was dirt on the carpet just inside the entrance. Once inside we were met byFlying insects throughout.There was bug spray but not a good first impression.There were cobwebs in every room some were really large especially in the entrance to and the annexe. The annexe room has a stain on the carpet so does the ensuite floor near the toilet.If the cottage had been cleaned the few hours before our arrival, as we were told then Filey has some really fast...

"So beautiful! Views out front are amazing! House is very nice and well equipped with comfy furniture and beds! Would make one addition to the restaurant list. Benny's was absolutely incredible! Best steak I think I've ever had and the owner/chef is a tremendous guy! "
