Lovely cottage with everything you need
Stayed here several times and always spotless. Everything you need is here. Nice and quiet during the week. Only negative is the very early check out time of 10am. Rediculous now the pandemic is over!

Great little break
This place is clean and well equipped! Really nice house we stayed in. The Pub on site is very expensive for what it is so if you are on a budget I recommend cooking at home. Fantastic beach walks and very dog friendly area. We will be back

Lovely Holiday Accommodation
The cottage was immaculate and well furnished . Had a lovely comfortable stay (the principal bed is mega comfy) and the wood burner made the living area cosy and warm on a cold Jan evening . Thanks for lovely stay would definitely return. Our first time at The Bay. Great location a little more upmarket than some close by holiday parks . Some nice walks too . Recommend the John Paul Jones for drinks . piebald Inn at Humnanby for pies . CJs in Filey for Fish and Chips .

Great little house
The house is perfect for a family of 4. The beds were really comfy, cleanliness top notch. Communication with the owner was easy and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend. There is a small seating area outside but didn’t use as visited in Dec! Really enjoyed our stay.

The best Bay property we have stayed as a couple.
Clean and tidy property with nice additional touches from the owner to make the stay comfortable. Nicely furnished with a good amount of space and storage. Highly recommend this property.

Great property
Stayed here lots of times and never fails to disappoint, just had to give 4 star on cleanliness as the bin hadn’t been emptied and was quite smelly, assume it was an oversight from the cleaners.

Hi Liz - thanks for your review - sorry about the bin not being emptied - I do ask guests to empty it and the fall-back is the cleaners, which as you say might have missed it this time. Lovely property and was surprised how spacious it was. Great location and had a lovely time on the beach. Would stay again only thing I’d say is the kitchen could do with de cluttering so people have some where to store any food they bring.

Lovely stay
The property is lovely. Very well equipped, everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Not as clean as i would have liked, but im a bit OCD! Would have liked a bit more space outside, we took our dogs and we couldnt enclose them anywhere.

Lovely Cottage and Great Communication
Cottage was lovely. Had a small challenge not having a bath or hand held shower to wash a 2 year old but everything else was well thought through. Communication prior to arrival was excellent

Lovely escape
Whole village was bigger and nicer than expected. Well kept grounds and good facilities. Well located to Filey and the beach. House was well placed near the pub, shop etc. Check in super easy. Comfy beds, fluffy towles and good shower. Provided computer seems to be broken but no issues apart from that

Lovely cottage, comfy sofas and beds. Needed to wash cutlery, pots and pans before we could use them as had dried food or sticky bits on them and cupboard shelves were sticky and had crumbs. Other than that we had a lovely stay, thank you.

Wonderful
Don’t hesitate to book. Lovely place with everything you could need. Perfect position to be close to the centre where the shops, pub, beach etc is but also far enough away to be peaceful. We all loved staying here and would definitely book again. Could not fault it.

We had a pleasant three night stay. The cottage was clean and the owners were fantastic when we needed help getting a light bulb changed. The property was located in a great part of the site, close to the facilities but still nice and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and house very well equipped but in need of maintenance and a thorough clean. Front door difficult to lock , door into lounge top hinge loose , shower door off rail at bottom , carbon monoxide alarm upstairs needs replacement it’s going off every 30 seconds with 3 beeps which means it’s broken, no reception on either tv upstairs , you may not know about these if you don’t see it often .

Okay but not as nice as other properties we’ve stayed in
The house itself, the location and the facilities were great but unfortunately the cleanliness of the house let it down. There were dirty towels in the upstairs bathroom (presumably from the last occupants), the downstairs floor hadn’t been mopped, there was dirt and soap scum on the upstairs sink, the top of the chest of drawers was covered in dust, there was approximately 10 sheets of toilet tissue in the downstairs toilet with no more in the house, no tea towel and two pairs of underpants in a drawer!! (and no I didn’t sniff them so I’ve no idea whether they were clean or dirty!) The actual house was lovely and the owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make sure that it’s like home from home (plenty of board games/boules, lots of pans, crockery & utensils, lovely and warm and really comfy beds) it’s just a shame that the cleaning company let things down.

A Very Merry Christmas
Can’t praise this property enough, was newly decorated and just perfect for our Christmas stay! The only small thing I’d say is that the fridge freezer is really just a fridge, it’s a tiny freezer compartment so try to avoid taking anything frozen Would 100% recommend this to anyone thinking of staying at Beach Haven 😀

Lovely place, lovely and bright upstairs which french doors in our room, good shower. Spacious living/dining area. Lots of toys/games for the kids to play with. Parking is a bit awkward as it's not directly outside the property, but there are parking lots at either side of the rows of houses. Takes about 15-20 mins to walk down to the beach, which when the tide is out, has stunning views . Can walk to Filey across the beach as well.

Relaxing Stay
Lovely property with ample space for 4 people. Great location for visiting the local seaside resorts. Lovely and quiet. We had a really chilled few days. Excellent pizza from the Cat restaurant. Meal at the pub on site was okay. Would recommend.
