"No frills accommodation but perfectly equipped for a short stay.
Room share a bathroom on a 1:3 ratio approximately and this wasnt an issue for my stay.
Host is lovely and very attentitive.
These rooms suitable contractors or anyone looking for a solid base to visit the nearby area.
Walking distance to local shop, pub and a few chinese takeaways.
Area is quiet, bar the seagulls, but for me the rooms are perfect.
Clean, tidy and everything you would need.

"Another great stay at this wonderful and peaceful hotel. Beware of the dog (charge) - it’s expensive at £25 per pet per night. Otherwise one of our very favourite places to come and relax!"

"This was such a beautiful cottage hotel. The food was excellent. I had the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The village has more shopping than you'd expect. It's definitely worth the short drive off the beaten path. And of course it's a filming location for Outlander which makes it extra special. "
"Of the 4 hotels I stayed in in Scotland, this was the best. A short drive outside of St Andrews with rates a fraction of the cost of hotels in town. Parking on site was easy. On site restaurant was excellent. The fish and chips was the best I had in the country. Staff was amazing. Rooms were in excellent condition. Property was unique and looked like a small village. "

The welcome included a brief tour of David’s home and interesting information about the previous owners. This was in addition to being shown our own accommodation which was spacious and comfortable.
David’s dog was a most welcoming host too!
I was most appreciative of the effort that David had gone to in catering for my gluten intolerance.

"We were greeted by extremely friendly, helpful hosts who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Our room was bright, pristine and beautifully presented. The honesty bar was lovely to come back to after our meal out. The room is grand and lots of interesting items to look at. Our night stay was very comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts we have ever had. If your thinking about booking a stay, don't think about it BOOK IT!!!!! You definitely will...

"Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. Communication with the host was very good additionally."
