"My fiancé and I stayed in this property on our last day in Big Island. Conveniently located 5 min away from the airport, so we had plenty of time to savor up any time we had left over on the island. There are a few local places to eat within walking distance. There is a bay across the street where you can watch kids having fun and jumping off in the water or you can stroll for a nice sunset walk. Staff were welcoming and helpful. "This place was great! Delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, great location. Really enjoyed watching the owners chickens and listening to birds and frogs at night. General store and brewery/restaurant one block away. "

The property was secluded and the the nature all around was relaxing. The owners were knowledgeable about local attractions and places to eat. "A luxurious camping experience with running hot water, electricity, and use of a washer/dryer. Not many places to eat around and the closest "grocery store" is very expensive (12 for a gallon of milk). Make sure you plan ahead and bring mosquito repellent!! "

"As we were driving a series of long winding roads to this property we said to ourselves, “this place is going to have to be really nice to be worth the drive.” And it was. The nature sounds were amazing. Eating every meal on the lanai was lovely. The kids fought over who got to sleep on the lanai. It’s close to a beautiful black sands clothing-optional beach, and otherwise there’s not much to do out there. It’s not the best jumping off point for lots of island touring, but it’s the perfect spot...
