"This wonderful design hotel, only a few meters outside the entrance to the old town in Carcassonne, was one of the most impressive experiences we had during our two week long comfortable bicycle holiday tour in July 2015. "Dejligt hotel meget tæt på borgen. Fantastisk atmosfære. God morgenmad, ikke buffet. Kan virkelig anbefale at prøve at spise aftensmad på hotellet, deres oste- og pølsetallerken er virkelig god. Gode lokal producerede retter. Poolområdet kunne god bruge daglig rengøring hvor der ikke kun bliver fejet, der var virkelig mange store fugleklatter også på møblerne. "

"Small hotel that is comfortable and adequate in all ways. They are a bit stingy with the air conditioning, turning it off centrally whenever you leave the room even for a short time, but the beds were good and the staff was pleasant."

"The accommodation was a fully furnished flat in a new block. It was well-equipped and very comfortable. The flats were not serviced but this was not a problem as we only stayed for 3 nights. The building seems to be a 'Seniors' block of flats with a few flats used as holiday lets but don't let that put you off as it is very comfortable and affordable and is just a short 5 to 10 minute slightly uphill walk to the walled town."

"Vi var på vej hjem til Danmark fra vores feriehus i Marseillan og skulle flyve fra Carcassonne til Billund. Vi ville gøre et ophold på et par dage for at udforske Carcassonne. La Bastide er et rigtig godt udgangspunkt. Hotellet ligger centralt og i gåafstand fra alt vi gerne ville tage i nærmere øjesyn. La Bastide var en behagelig oplevelse, God atmosphære, venlige værter, god morgenmad. Et anbefalelsesværdigt sted, hvor vi helt sikker også skal bo næste gang, vi flyver fra Billund til...

"Breakfast was prepared to order with eggs, bacon, breads/croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, etc. Relaxed setting on the terrace. Only 7 rooms. Felt very well taken care of. Extremely attentive staff. High quality in every sense. "
