Cozy Cedar cabin in the woods. Large front relaxing porch, warm wood cathedral ceilings with a loft. Rustic décor. One Queen and one full size bed. We provide linens and towels. Full working kitchen, gas grill. Internet, enclosed parking. 3.5 miles from the I-77 and 2.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. 20 mins from the Blue Ridge Music center. Close to Crooked Creek wildlife management area, Hillsville, Galax and Mount Airy.

Rustic Cedar Cabin was simply amazing! There is much to be said about all the attention to details from Michelle. The kitchen was well stocked,and the bathrooms had delightful soaps. One bedroom had a cozy fireplace ,and the other had a quiet reading nook. Everything in the house was planned with thoughtfulness in mind. We hope to return to this wonderful cabin!

Exceeded Expectations
Our stay at the Rustic Cedar Cabin was wonderful from our very late arrival to our reluctant departure four days later. Our host made our accommodations so inviting and so complete, you cannot help but want to stay longer! The cabin was comfortable and very clean. The grounds were peaceful and so beautiful. I most certainly will want to book this cabin again.

Great Stay!

Fancy Gap getaway
This cabin is so perfect! You will not regret booking! So clean, easily accessible from the road. Accommodations are quite comfy. The front porch is so peaceful. The host and everyone around town are so friendly. Cant wait to return!

Fancy Gap Cabin
This is the second time we’ve stayed at this cabin and it won’t be the last! It is our favorite VRBO that we’ve stayed at. Michelle is a great host and provides all needed amenities and then some! The cabin was squeaky clean and so comfortable. The cabin is beautiful and so well decorated. You cannot go wrong choosing this VRBO!

Weekend getaway
This is our 2nd trip to this cabin. Everything was perfect again. All the extras from the owner are amazing! I highly recommend this if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. We will be back!

Overnight Stay
Very cute cottage and was in a beautiful location. We lost power due to a storm but Michelle came by at 10 PM to give us an update on the power outage. She offered a full refund if we opted to stay somewhere else. We opted to stay and she discounted the rate. Superb customer service.

Amazing BRP cabin
My family loved the cabin! We were sad we were only passing through. We would have loved to stay there to relax. It is 15 min from the Blue Ridge Music Center. The host provided some basics like coffee/tea, a few groceries to make French toast, and everything we needed to be comfortable like toiletries, extra blankets, games and books. The cabin was in excellent condition and also had a laundry room. The price was very comparable to staying in a hotel but was such a better experience! Thank you, Michelle, for being such a great host!

Great Location
We had a delightful 3 night get-away to the mountains from Charlotte. The setting is very nice and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the sweet town of Galax. Cows grazing and birds singing…beautiful sites and sounds of nature.

Our stay here was amazing! The cabin is beautiful inside and out. Everything was perfect. Michelle had essentials stocked in the refrigerator, soaps, every day items, and pretty much anything that you could think of to make you feel at home. It's tucked back off the road for a private feel. We will definitely be coming back as we really enjoyed our stay! Bravo, Michelle!!!

Relaxing, Safe and Peaceful Retreat

Most amazing cabin!
Our stay was truly perfect, all thanks to the thoughtfulness of the owner! She had the home decorated beautifully and everything felt so cozy! The owner had so many things I wouldn’t have imagined, including different soaps, shampoo, laundry supplies, and basic breakfast items in the fridge for our convenience. She really went above and beyond and as soon as we left we said that we can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much!!!!

Excellent Choice!
We loved this cabin! It was extra clean and comfy! Michelle the hostess thought of all of the details to make the cabin a great place to stay. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen which had all of the pans and utensils we needed to prepare some fun meals. We loved the Roku TV that let allowed us to sign into apps like Pandora on our own account for the days we were there. We took in a concert at the Blue Ridge Music Center - not that far away. It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay! We hope we can make it back again soon. The only problem was that this cabin rental raised our expectation level too high for anywhere else we would stay. LOL :) Thanks Michelle!

We stayed at the Rustic Cabin while motocycling in the area. It was a very comfortable, quiet and relaxing stay for 3 nights. We would highly recommend it and will stay here again when we are in the area. Thanks to our host, Michelle, for making our riding trip one of the best ones yet.

Well appointed, comfortable cabin
The thing that impressed us most about the cabin was how well the kitchen was appointed and the thoughtful provision of tea, coffee, herbs, spices and much more. The eggs, milk, bagels and Philly cheese provided for our breakfast was particularly appreciated. Everything else about the cabin was well up to standard. Unfortunately we only stayed one night so didn't get to enjoy the fire pit. Thank you, Michelle.
