"Nice hotel in Angouleme. Had a little difficulty finding it at night since not familiar with area. Had after hours check in which went well, although gate for accessing parking area was not automatic but manual. Hotel is new in an older building, but that adds to its charm and has all the modern amenities (including A/C, which not all hotels have in the area). The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, but was small like most French hotel rooms. Enjoyed our one night stay and...

"This is a beautiful hotel, set in a tranquil garden, with a lovely view. The staff members were helpful and very friendly, and the room was enormous, interesting and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk into town, and around the ramparts of the city. Itâs a pity we had just one night, we would have liked to have stayed longer. Very good breakfast"

"This appart-hotel is about a ten minute walk to the centre of Angouleme and the comic strip museum is nearby. The rooms are clean with a kitchenette and a shower room.
Breakfast is reasonable for under 10 euros. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Altogether a good stay. "

Staff were wonderful. The room was basic but comfortable though I do miss my kettle. Limited but good evening menu and a great breakfast."

breakfast is ok for 6 euros but you do no even get a plate to put your thins on it.
