Hidden Gem.
Amazing little cottage! Spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome pack. Everything there you need for a short break. Bakery and supermarket on the door step. It all made for a perfect long weekend!

Cute little house
This was the last place I booked on our long road trip through England where we didn't have friends or family to stay with. I must admit, I had looked at so many different places, that I assumed this had wi-fi, and I thought I had booked a place with a washing machine. So culpa mia, but it was a bit frustrating as I needed to communicate with several friends and our next 2 stops, and get some washing done. It all worked out, and Dandy Place was very comfortable. The access and parking are both somewhat tight. We talked to a neighbour who said his back bumper had been scraped several times while parked opposite Dandy Place.

Perfect stay for us
We were impressed with the attention to detail to make our stay as comfort as possible. Thank you too for the helpful food goodies waiting for us! Some might miss having no WiFi and the usual ‘too many’ TV channels but we really appreciated the release!! We didn’t need all the local businesses because we were just visiting for a friend’s wedding but realised how much was on offer within walking distance. Overall an excellent vacation rental.

A pristine property
Very pleased with our choice, especially as we wanted to explore the area. Were able to walk into Exmouth via the cycle path. Very grateful that the heating was more than adequate for the time of year (November).

perfectly appointed , ideal for two .
Quite new in construction and very cleverly designed around a unusual shape and position . Interior finished to a very high standard with quality fittings . Couldn't fault the property and quiet location considering proximity to shops and main road . Top job.

Our Dandy place stay
Property very easy to find. We reversed our car, Nissan quashquai into the parking space easily, to some it may be a challenge though. Once we were inside, it was a “wow” moment. The whole building has been completed to a very high specification. Not sure how old the property is, but it looks brand new. We were welcomed with the essentials, tea, milk, bread, butter(real) and a beautiful cake. Spare lightbulbs etc in storage cupboard. Towels and bed linen provided. It is the perfect get away for two foster parents needing a break. Very cosy lighting and comfortable furnishings. We will be booking again. Check in was really easy. Thank you Michelle x

Our stay at Dandy Place, Exmouth, East Devon
As soon as we walked in we really liked Dandy Place; it had a lovely, calming atmosphere and we felt immediately welcomed and at home. The decor is very tasteful indeed and the bungalow was spotlessly clean. A bunch of colourful flowers awaited us on the table. Also, we were pleasantly surprised to find scones, jam and cream!! Thank you so much to Michelle for providing such a comfortable and well equipped place to stay. The beds too were comfortable. Besides the bed linen, towels were also supplied which was great. Perfect short break
A lovely property with all anyone would need when self catering. The owner has gone the extra mile with welcome treats, flowers, cream tea, bread, milk, butter and more. Would recommend highly.

What a lovely place !! We were delighted with Dandy Place it is so beautifully done inside and with great taste. It has everything you need. We were greeted by lovely scones etc...for a cream tea and milk for a cuppa which was lovely after our long journey. Thank you Michelle Just around the corner we discovered the shops also with everything you need. This is a lovely base for discovering beautiful Exmouth and surrounding areas of which there are many.

A perfect bolt hole!
The bungalow was a perfect place - everything we needed was there and it was really peaceful. Just ten minutes from the sea in Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton.

Different!
A very nicely converted place, cleverly designed and well furnished. Pretty much everything you need for a short-ish break. Michelle kindly left a ‘welcome pack’ of essentials and also some delicious scones, cream and jam, very welcome! The location is good in that it is 2 minutes walk from a Co op, fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway and a very nice bakery and also a 2 minute drive to Tesco. However, for us, it was neither fish nor fowl - it wasn’t in the country with nice views, nor on the beach nor in the middle of town with a choice of restaurants and activities. We also felt the parking was rather tight and if you had a car parked there, there was very little space to sit outside, even if you wanted to. I think they did the best they could with what they had and it made a nice base for us to go out and about.

Lovely little house
Very comfortable, easy to check in, beautifully clean, lovely shower. Good position for getting into the town. Convenient large supermarkets nearby. Good to have your own parking space but not always easy for turning to get out.
