"Lang House is conveniently located between downtown Burlington and the University of Vermont. Parking is available on the property and we were able to walk everywhere. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The help was extremely friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. My husband has celiac disease and they had gluten free bread, gluten free blueberry muffins, and wheat free cookies. Everyone and everything was absolutely lovely."
"Blind Tiger is truly gorgeous. Each space is special and the grounds are beautiful. You get the one of a kind charm charm and history of an elegant old home (mansion!) with all of the modern luxuries of today. The staff is lovely and the sheets are so soft I could barely get up for the delicious breakfast. Thank you for such a nice stay! We hope to return and see another room."
"I spent last weekend in the "Superior single room lake view." I'm a woman in her 30s traveling solo - in town for a wedding. The owner is very nice and welcoming (gave me a map and restaurant recommendations) and I felt safe walking to and from downtown Burlington from this location. Parking out front was easy. "You need to know where the hotel is, there are no signs. Reception has nice little shop and also doubles as breakfast area in the morning. Breakfast could be better, it’s mainly carbs (toast and bagels etc.)
The rooms are nice and big, with all you need even for longer stays. Yes there are scuffs and signs of age, but it’s clean and functioning. WiFi was mostly fine, but there was a period of no access."
