"I felt very comfortable. I stayed 2 weeks because of work and it was a quiet and relaxing place with welcoming staff. There is a little garden and the house and furniture was in a cosy, traditional style. It is in the historic city center (zona1) close to shops, restaurants and a 10 min walk from the Plaza. The only minus is that the to blocks from the pedestrian street is kind of isolated, so i wouldnt recommend to walk alone at night. "

"All was wonderful. I loved that the rooms are named after the children and there's a bio on them in the room. Very personal touch. Also the worry dolls to put under your pillow made by the moms is a sweet touch. The restaurant was great. I recommend the breakfast!"

"The Hyatt Centric in Guatemala City is by far the nicest of the hotels at that level. The rooms are large and clean. The staff was friendly down to the cleaning ladies. This is now the only hotel I will stay at in Guatemala City. "

"Room was clean and property was well taken care of. All the staff was professional and had no problem answering our questions. The hotel has a gate to walk through, not just anybody can come inside and the parking lot is also gated so they have staff that manage these services. Casa serena is located in a quiet, prosperous area that is walkable with at least 3-5 bars/restaurants nearby. We literally have zero complaints!"

"The staff, particularly our amazing doorman (my sincere apologies, but my middle-aged mind has forgotten his name,) were above and beyond! The room was spacious and the a/c and heater were both efficient. The bathroom was meticulously clean. The lack of a mini fridge in the room stocked with agua pura seems an oversight at this price point, but the delicious breakfasts, warm welcomes, and generous nature of everyone helped us forget this shortcoming. Will absolutely stay here again!"
