"The restaurant is genuinely lovely and clearly the highlight of the property. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience doesn’t live up to it. The room I stayed in was spacious, but it felt damp, which affected comfort throughout the stay. More concerning is the state of the outdoor areas — they are in clear neglect and give the impression that maintenance has been deferred for quite some time. With proper upkeep, especially outside, this place could be much better. As it stands, it feels...

"Personnel adorable, chambre et parties communes propres, petit déjeuner bon. En revanche, salle de bain vieillotte et appartement à isoler car il y fait très froid en juillet."

"Best points: location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, plenty of hot water, charming ambience. Not so good: rickety shower frame (kept coming out of its grooves), mini split heater out of order so a space heater had to be brought in, room was rather cramped for two people"

"The room itself is comfortable and spacious. Great bedding and hot water. Nice balcony and friendly staff. I think if they want to advertise “kitchen,” it should have a stove or hot plate. Few utensils. No amenities, like soap or shampoo. Lots and lots of noise from an attached club - music and drink patrons. Overall good for the price and location but I wouldn’t stay here again - the NOISE."

"Great Location, but a Very Inconsistent Experience The location is definitely one of the biggest positives of this property. Unfortunately, there are quite a few downsides. The air conditioning is poor, and having only two pool daybeds for a property accommodating potentially 600–1,000 guests is simply ridiculous. The security system is also unnecessarily complicated, with different access codes required for almost every door. On top of that, visitors are strictly prohibited, with absolutely...

"Big and clean room"

"To be honest first thing that I love the most is that the owner is so friendly and approachable, and the property is at a quite and safe place , and if you love arts like me then La Casa Blanca is the place to be , and the cleanliness is just at the top notch "

"I arrived at check in at 4h30pm only to be told that there was no apartment available for myself & my friends to check in. We had been on the road for hours driving to JNB & it was completely unacceptable that no contact had been made prior to us arriving at property to inform us that no apartment was available for us. No one seemed to care where we would go at that late time on a long weekend & we had no refund to book somewhere else. Eventually the Apex made a plan to check us into another...

"I didn’t even get in I would like to get my money refend"

"Okay "

"Amzing stay, room was immaculate! Owners are really friendly, helpful and understanding "

"A Hideaway in Joburg.

"Very friendly staff, safe charming room"
