The compost toilet was not too bad, and didn’t smell. "Our stay at The Ridge by Tiny Away in Daylesford was frustrating from start to finish. Communication was poor throughout - we received no booking confirmation until I chased it up, and only found out one hour before check-in that the heater was broken, during a freezing weekend. "Marnie & Dale were lovely and the accommodation was very comfortable with plenty of wood for the cosy fire. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and everything worked.Repairs to the arm chair, electric heater and mats would be beneficial for safety reasons. The coffee and cake van was a bonus thanks to Gill, Roy and Fleur and Marnie’s yummy homemade cakes. Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.A little bit further out from town than stated on the website (extra 6klms) and google...
