"Getting to the island involved catching the dedicated boat anchored offshore. Prepare to get wet! The journey was over an hour but with great views of Koh Ta Kiev island and others. We were welcomed by volunteers and Giovanni gave us a brief on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation which was just off the beach. The hut was on stilts and featured fairly comfortable beds with much needed mosquito nets, a balcony facing the sea, and complementary water. The activities on offer were varied...

"Paid for a premier room with ocean view & balcony. Room had neither, asked for the room we paid for to be told our room was given to someone else the previous day. Told we could change room the next day, then told they didn't have another room to offer us. They tried to offer a much smaller room & claimed that was what we paid for & they had upgraded us on arrival. This was challenged, the only resolve they could offer was free breakfast. "My room was perfect, I liked the desk, balcony and bathroom. The wifi did not work whatsoever and that was extremely annoying. There was a TV with no remote. The area around the hotel was quite eery, even during the daytime. It was a really built-up area, but there were barely any people around and I felt quite unsafe. It felt like there was no soul or life to the place. The hotel was okay though. "

"When we got there the airconditioning was dripping on the bed. The drainage was blocked with algae. The crockery was dirty with soup stains. The two pots were burned beyond help. Only two small towels were provided, no hand towels or kitchen towel. The mattress protector was disgusting and they took it away when they changed the bed by turning it around. The bedsheets are fake, not cotton. Overall a bad experience and we do not recommend staying here. The management simply stopped communicating...

"Staff were super friendly and provided bottled water whenever I needed. Bed was comfy and the hotel is nice and quiet. I loved my mornings doing yoga by the pool and having a lovely swim to start the day. And the breakfast was top notch! Just two mins walk to the beach! Great place to land and chill at the start of my trip."

Le personnel est incapable de nous indiquer des restaurants à proximité. Communication très difficile même avec Google traduction. Des insectes et des lézards habitaient dans la chambre. Nous avons eu des serviettes trop usées pour essuyer. Terrasse mal entretenue et lait périmé dans le réfrigérateur du marché. Le seul bon point, la piscine"

"First of all, check-in was a crap shoot; NO communication, got lucky I hitched a ride with another guest who was having same problem, still was kinda left standing during check-in, otherwise no staff existing for any issues with the room, stained pullout couch, terrible working elevators, silverware was non-existing, no china for coffee, TV wasn't working, pool had no towels and the lounge chairs were bolted stuck in a seated position, no cushions either, property was very difficult to find,...
