Hotel i El Gezira, Luxor

"A wonderful experience at The View Hotel. The rooftop view is absolutely amazing, overlooking the Nile River and the mountains. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay at The View Hotel again on my next trip to Luxor. Highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed our stay. Staff where friendly and helpful. We felt at home. Enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop."

"Staff were great. The hotel is falling apart. Evidently two of the owners passed away and the place seems to be struggling. Some of the public areas in the hotel look to be junk storage. The bed was rock hard, like sleeping on cardboard. The place is situated in an unpleasant part of the West side. Breakfast was fine. I’m sorry I can’t offer a kinder review. I cannot recommend this hotel."

"Nile Valley is a Great Place for several reasons; Location on the quiet West Bank is perfect in relation to boats across the Nile to the noisy city and Karnak Temple, visit to Valley of Kings and early balloon ride. There is a little town with shops. Management is very helpfully and arranged tours, pickup in airport, guide and balloon ride for us. Staff is nice, helpful and charming and there is always someone around. Rooms are large with balcony and nice bathrooms and the beds finer than most...

"The staff was very helpful and made us feel most welcome. The place was clean and the breakfast was good. I really appreciated that they would not allow us to tip because it made the experience feel more comfortable. Tipping culture in Egypt can be crazy. Our room was very nice and having the two bedrooms was wonderful for our family."

"Very good for the price"

"Let me start by saying that the garden and pool area straight on the Nile is really stunning and amazing to hang out in. The staff was always super nice and the breakfast has a great selection. Very fresh. But - the rooms on the street side are VERY noisy, hence I changed my room the atrium side after the first night. In the new room, the air condition did not work and I had to sleep with a wet towel over me for two nights to keep cool. Despite mentioning this, they did not fix the issue. Not...
