To start, we checked into the hotel on the 3rd. The day we checked in we were placed in a room that was already occupied. (Which is fine, accidents happen) We moved to our new room and requested more towels, because we have 5 people in our family. We was told that the hotel only had enough towels for each room. We was given two additional towels then. We requested the bedding and the towels be changed several time prior to leaving to visit family on the second day, they said that they would take care of it. However, when we return back to the room, everything was exactly how we left it with no towels. I had to go downstairs to the front desk to more towels, but there was none available. My husband and I ended up washing our own towels. In addition to the towel situation, the third night we came back to a room with no hot water. Prior to booking this hotel, we did not know that the hotel pool has been closed since before Covid. Nothing was on the website for that. Outside of that the staff that works the front desk, was extremely kind and apologetic. From my understanding, this hotel was sold during Covid to a new owner. The updates have been slower than intended, and the cleaning staff have language barriers, things more difficult for the employees that have been working here for years.
