Michl in Mauthnereck is quietly nestled among forests and nature—an authentic wooden cabin just like in the old days. If you want to truly disconnect and appreciate the simple things, you’ll feel right at home here.



The cabin is functional and cozy, heated the traditional way with wood. Lighting the stove is part of the experience and creates a unique, inviting atmosphere.



Everything you need for a relaxing stay is provided: a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and dishes. The living room features an HD TV, dining area, and a comfortable sofa (1 sleeping spot). There’s one bedroom with a double bed (2 sleeping spots) and a loft room with a pull-out bed (2 sleeping spots), accessed by a slightly steeper space-saving staircase. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Wi-Fi is available, but you can also choose to unplug.



Also included: washer-dryer, lockable bike storage, private garden with seating and grill, covered parking, and an extra parking space. Bed linens, towels, shower gel, and shampoo are included. Firewood is provided. 1–2 pets are welcome for an extra fee.



The self-catering cabin accommodates up to 5 guests and is easily accessible by car. Hiking and mountain bike trails start right outside the door.



The Koralm region offers peace, open views, and pure nature—explore waterfalls, forage for mushrooms and herbs, or watch wildlife in the woods. Enjoy swimming at the idyllic Soboth reservoir or the pools in St. Oswald and Eibiswald. At Soboth, you can also try stand-up paddling, diving, surfing, or rent a boat.
