"Loved the location of the property. Right next to the cutest coffee and breakfast place called the big easy. Lots of shops and dinner options. Rooms are spotless, decor is on the older side but it was spotless. Showers and bathrooms are on the smaller side as well but still so clean! Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a wonderful resort! Definitely family friendly as well! "

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome — the staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire stay. Our room was spotless and cozy, and the lodge is in a fantastic location, close to so many great spots in Door County while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. "We had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan from our room's window. The Lake was close to the building so the sound of the waves could lull us to sleep. The windows opened to allow fresh air into the room. The breakfast muffins and doughnuts tasted homemade. The staff was friendly and very helpful. "

"This was a last minute trip for my wife and I. We booked a night at Gordon Lodge very quickly the morning we left and were hoping we made a good choice. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with our pick. Very nice resort! Very clean cabin. We had dinner at the lodge that night and the food and atmosphere were great! The next morning we had breakfast there as well. What a fantastic breakfast! We'll be staying Gordon Lodge again the next time we come to Door County."

Having access to the lobby for coffee, tea or juice after hours was wonderful. Down the road from the piggy wiggly and all things Sister Bay. So convenient. Look no further. "Our stay was great, we enjoyed the grounds and the atmosphere. The unit was adequate for our family and needs. The beds (pull out and bedroom) in our unit were somewhat uncomfortable, but this could be personal preference as well. You are close to town, not within walking distance, but there is a shuttle stop at the hotel. They have coffee available in the lobby, no food/breakfast, but there are vending options. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will return! "

"Having never stayed at the Waterbury we didn't know what to expect but ended up enjoying our stay there. The hotel overall is kept clean. The 2 bedroom loft plus pullout bed provided decent room for 5 of us, including 3 adult children. The grill and gas fire pit with seating area out front is very nice. Both pools (indoor/outdoor) and hottub were clean and provided an enjoy spot to spend time in the water. The grounds of the resort are maintained very well too. Only the landscape islands...
