"After a seven hour drive from Skye in wet and stormy conditions, it was wonderful to arrive at Lanehead Old School where Lisa had lit the log burner in the large and comfortable hall and made me feel immediately at ease. The sleeping quarters are very cosy, with a separate bathroom and living room containing everything you need for a relaxed stay, best of all a very comfortable bed. "So convenient for NCL, a short walk from arrivals. Also, less than 5 minute walk to get rental car in the morning. Finally I was able to get a table in the restaurant, have something to eat and write my report from the days work while waiting for a late flight."

"This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people.
The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices.

Das Hotel wird nach und nach die Zimmer renovieren... meines kommt wohl auch bald dran. Gut - es war noch veraltet, aber auf jeden Fall wirklich sauber. Hier hätte ich es auch noch ein paar Nächte aushalten können."
