"Not our first stay here. As usual everything brilliant. Can't wait to go back."

"The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy and had more than could be expected."

"Everything was so fantastic, the staff were very helpful, the food was amazing. Excellent place. We will definitely be back."

"Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast. The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...

"Rooms are comfy and well presented Beds are very comfortable Food is excellent and staff very friendly So much choice for breakfast Very worth a stay"

"I had to ask for towells for the room, also had to ask for toilet paper otherwise every thing about the hotel was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. I have stayed at this hotel many times before and have never had any previous problems."

"Skøn lejlighed i et dejligt naturområde. Godt udgangspunkt for skønne gåture og besøg på Blakeney Point og se sæler i det flotte naturreservat!"

"Staff was very helpful, clean room, and great location"

"Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast, we had a great choice of breakfasts, the full English was a bit too big for me, I couldn't finish it, I should have gone for the small English. Plenty of parking. I would recommend booking a table for dinner as soon as possible, this venue is very popular with the locals. We would definitely stay at the Recruiting Sergeant again."

"Lovely and friendly, directly on the beach a perfect get away"

"Good base which welcomes visitors with dogs (pre booked in their garden rooms) and a 2 min walk to the local train station. Easy (and cheap) train ride to Cromer if you don’t fancy the beach walk - which I do recommend you do - then train back!"

"Very good accommodation. Great location, rooms were good and staff helpful. Breakfast came in a hamper in your room, very nice touch, plenty of it. Would definitely go back"

"Food was fairly decent, staff were all excellent. Nice clean room, lovely comfortable bed. Big clean bathroom. However .....we couldn't get any of the radiators to work. When its single digits centigrade outside its time to fire up the central heating !! The room and bathroom was very cold, which put a real downer on our stay."
