Nautical Cabin with Best view on Orcas Island

Truly one of the best views on Orcas Island, and an incredible one of a kind house! 3 bedrooms and a mother in law suite! (3 of which have their own private balconies so you never miss a moment of those incredible sunsets!), and 3 and a half brand new bathrooms. Walking in feels like you are walking into a finely appointed yacht, with each detail meant to draw the ocean and forrest outside in. All the bedrooms have a subtle theme to add some extra flair to this incredible PNW long cabin.This home is beyond one of a kind. Each detail has been painstakingly done by hand with love! The sunsets from here are some of the most mesmerizing you will ever see anywhere. Also, all of the bedrooms are very oversized, so you never have to feel cramped!Entry/Living Room/Kitchen: When you walk in, you will immediately be drawn to the giant windows that over look the incredible view. You might also notice the spiral stairs that are quite the work of art themselves. Big couches, a real wood burning fireplace, and a baby grand piano also wait for you in the living room. The dining room table looks out to the deck and veiw, and it seats 8 people, and the bar adds another two seats as well. The kitchen is freshly painted and easy to navigate. Filled with plenty of pots, pans, dinner wear, utensils and glassware. (There is also a bathroom right off the entry to the house that has the washer and dryer in it.)Downstairs Mother In-law Suite: If there is someone in your group that wants more privacy, we have you covered! There is a master downstairs that even has its own private entrance- and a sauna! It has it's own balcony, a king size bed, a desk, its own full bath, plus a reading nook day bed that functions as another sleeping option for someone!Upstairs Master Bedroom: It comes with it's own ensuite bathroom that was just completely remodeled, plus a wonderful makeup vanity, king size bed, private balcony and a leather couch that faces out to the view- a perfect place to enjoy a quiet sunset moment with your significant other!King over King Bunkbed Room: That is right, king over king bunkbeds! Whether you are a kid, or just a kid at heart, you will love it! This room also has two swings that you can enjoy and a private balcony. We lovingly call this the mermaid room, we like to think it is decorated like a mermaid would choose to decorate! Full over Full Bunkbed Room: This is the only room without a balcony, but it makes up for it in character. This cozy room has a desk as well as the full over full bunkbeds, and we like to call this the pirate room.Upstairs Guest Bath: This is shared by both of the bunkbed rooms, and it has been completely redone. It has brand new soaking tub that is absolutely perfect to relax in and forget about all of the stress of the day!Outdoor Areas: As I said before, all but one of the bedrooms have their own private balconies, but that isn't all. There are giant decks off of the dining area for everyone to use! (And once you see the view, it's hard to ever come inside!) We have plenty of comfortable seating out there, as well as a BBQ grill, and the important part... The hot tub! Vacation Rental File Number Landuse-20-0291We are always available for you throughout your stay if you need anything at all. It is our goal that you have a once in a lifetime vacation in this home that we consider a gem of the Pacific Northwest.Another reason this home is so amazing is it's location! Not just for the view, but because it is located right above the historic Rosario Resort. The view of the resort and it's marina is lovely day and night. But you can also go down and enjoy the resort, it is a quick 5 minute drive- they have an incredible restaurant and bar, plus their historic atmosphere is not to be missed. We are also almost backed up to the incredible Moran State Park and Cascade Lake. You can walk to the Cascade Lake trail from the house. Moran State Park has some of the best hiking we have ever experienced. Buck Bay Shellfish is something you don't want to miss while you are here, and it is only 5 miles away. The downtown of Eastsound isn't far either- again, only 5 miles away! You don't want to miss wandering around the shops and restaurants there either!Getting to the island, don't forget to book your ferry or flight! Ferries have been filling up fast lately. While on the island you are going to want a car, but you can hike to some trails from the house without having to hop in a car!

Great Property, Great View

We had an excellent time at Vasu's Rose--the views were incredible and the access to amenities all around was really wonderful. Despite easy access, the home was plenty far away from any major road to truly feel remote. We had a great time!

Beautiful Rosario views

Our group of 3 couples and one single friend loved our stay at this property. The views were amazing from almost every room, the furnishings were well appointed and everything was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and the dining table was large enough to seat everyone. We spent lots of time enjoying the decks and hot tub. It was a lovely spot to enjoy all Orcas has to offer! Thanks to our hosts.

Stunning views. Great place to relax and work!

Our family of 4 came with my sibling's family of 4. Have some musicians in the group so the grand piano and electric pianos were a wonderful addition. We were able to listen to the music as we sat on the balconies to enjoy the incredible views. Two of the adults needed to work and were able to do that fairly well (although some intermittent connection issues) while the rest of us enjoyed the easy to access surrounding areas or just enjoyed making food in the well stocked kitchen or playing games and putting together puzzles that were at the house. Host was very responsive. Beds were comfortable.

Great Home for family

We rented this house so that all our immediate family had a place to stay for a wedding nearby. Good location, plenty of rooms, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. House has good parking and the view is incredible. Only comment is the house has limited air conditioning so bedrooms got very warm at night. There were plenty of fans but limited windows r we ugh screens.

Awesome View - Beautiful Home - Great for Large Group

It’s hard to say what our family liked best about Vasu’s Rose. Top contenders were the numerous decks with some of the best views on Orcas, the well-stocked kitchen where we took turns cooking almost all our meals for our extended family of 10, or the grill and hot tub on the main deck, both used daily. From our deck chairs we watched gorgeous sunsets, juvenile bald eagles, soaring in the tree tops right in front of us, as well as black-tailed deer and one curious raccoon. The beds were comfortable, the laundry convenient and the soaking tub in the hall bath deep and comfortable. The decor was pretty and the setting unbeatable. Michael and McKenna were very kind and accommodating. We all loved our stay.

Amazing spot in the hills!

The place itself was stunning and in an amazing location. There were balconies from almost every bedroom with a gorgeous view of the ocean, and the main one including a jacuzzi, grill, and outdoor seating area. Super close to great lakes and hikes and about 10 min from the downtown. Spent the week here with family and it was definitely a memorable stay!

Magnificent home!

We held our team offsite at this marvelous home. The details shared on VRBO don't even scratch the surface on how wonderful this home is. It is clean, spacious, well stocked, the wifi works well, and the view ... my goodness the view. The owners were SO easy to communicate with. I hope we get the opportunity to visit again.

The house was fantastic for noir our yearly trip to Orcas. McKenna was amazing!!

The property was incredible, we had such a great time and the house was so well decorated! It was one of the most magnificent views on Orcas Island. McKenna was just amazing and welcomed us with open arms. Look forward to returning next year!

Excellent retreat

This is a beautiful home tucked away in a perfect spot for a relaxing retreat and a home base to explore Orcas. The place was spotless. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware so that we were able to prepare some great meals. The decks and bedrooms are perfectly situated and appointed to enjoy the highlight of the place: the stunning view. The house is large enough to host our group of 6 adults and 3 toddlers comfortably. We were able to relax an enjoy the view on a quiet day while still having internet good enough to stream a movie in the evening. It is located really clsoe to Moran state park and Rosario resort if you want to go down. While "far" in island distance, it's less than 15 mins driving to Eastsound for groceries, etc. Cannot recommend the place enough.
