Spacious and airy, this home's lovely view of the Bay is a sight to behold - you'll be right across the street! Enjoy the water views out on the wraparound furnished deck or take a six-mile drive to the beach for aquatic fun. St. George Island State Park is across the bridge, less than 16 miles away. And when you're ready to get a bite to eat, Red Pirate Family Grill & Oyster Bar and Mangia 850 are both within three miles.

After your water excursions, you can rinse off in the private outdoor shower. Central air-conditioning will keep everyone inside, and the full kitchen is all set up with full-size appliances and plenty of counter space. There's a private washer/dryer to take care of the swimsuits while you're relaxing, and high-speed internet will help you stay connected with friends and family back home. Bliss on the Bay awaits - come prepared to relax!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Nice place

Stayed here for second year in a row for guys fishing trip. Good location nice house and nice view. Only negative about the house is the water odor. Probably sulfur in the water but could be fixed with filtration system. Enjoyed the stay

We had a great time. The home was stocked with toiletries, dish soap, towels & hand soap as expected and clean. We will recommend to friends. Improvement suggestions: it’s time to update the living room furniture and fix the thermostat so more user friendly, there were no outside lights, improve lighting in living room & dining areas & strap garbage can-my husband cleaned up a mess bc the wind blew it over and it was full when we arrived Friday evening but overall it was nice stay.

Nice with room for improvement

Our overall stay was nice but I do agree with other comments about the water odor and the highway 98 traffic/noise. There is a lovely view of the bay and BEAUTIFUL ancient live oak trees in the yard. The deck chairs need replaced and the air flow in the master bedroom needs addressed. We loved the area and definitely will make a return trip and wouldn't rule out staying at Bliss again.

Adult get away

The property is nice , could be great !! The grass needed cut , needs lights on the steps , the water smelled like sulfur so taking a shower and washing hands was rough . When we first got there the code nor keys worked. We did call and finally after about 30 minutes they changed the code and gave us a new code . The mattresses need to be replaced . On the good side the view was great , the location wonderful, The a/c kept it nice and cold cause it was very hot and humid outside!! Over all we had a great time !!

Do not stay here

This house has potential, but the smell of the water is horrid. The water reeks of sulfur and I have smelled water that smelled like sulfur before but never to this extent. The smell was enough to make you gag. We contacted the property management team, and they gave us lip service and no action. We bought jugs of water to brush our teeth and bathe. The thought of washing your hands after you used the bathroom was terrible. The whole bathroom with the smell of the water would send you running out the door. As I look back through older reviews, I see that this has been a problem in the past. Unfortunately, I did not go that far back in the reviews before I made this booking and I will never make the same mistake again. I will also never utilize any property where Vacasa is the property manager.

Friends Fishing Trip

The location was perfect to be away from the crowds. Our crew walked across Hwy 98 to surf fish. They caught enough for us to enjoy a meal before we left. We were close to the businesses of Eastpoint, St. George Island, and Apalachicola to enjoy visits to each. We had a total of eight people and had plenty of room.

Dis not stay because our orignal house we rented was two weeks behind remodel schedule.

The backup "duplex" was actually a little apartment complex with way less room. and no parking. Was less money than we paid. I will never ever go through your third party again. It was a nightmare. So we spent 10 hours driving because we went back home.

Dirty

Pet stains on all the rugs. Dirty windows, ripped screens and infestation oh German Roaches. Bug man had to come but said they wouldn’t be gone for 3 weeks. We still had a few after he left. The management did give us a discount but as far as I’m concerned it wasn’t enough

Nice place

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bliss on Bay. The house was clean and just as pictured. There were really only a few things that we wished were different. The road noise was much louder than we had imagined, but owners can't really do anything about this. It was a constant flow of cars, day and night. The master bed is very firm. A new pillowtop in the master would be a major upgrade. The one house on East side is very close and it had construction going on during our stay. Otherwise, the house was great. Loved the kitchen! Lots of windows and three slider doors to deck. If there was a new pillowtop mattress in master, my hubby and I would definitely return. Thanks, The Sweats

Location

The house was in a perfect location with not too many stairs. It was clean comfortable. We only stayed 2 nights so ate out mostly, however, if you plan to stay longer and cook, I recommend brining your own cooking amenities. much of the cookware was not usable and they only supplied plates, cups, and silverware. This was fine for us though, because we didn't need much! We will definitely book again and will be prepared. The view of the bay was amazing and we could see dolphins catching their breakfast. We did have some issues finding the location. When you enter the address in google maps or waze, it takes you across the bridge to Appalachicola. I realized to get to the right spot, I needed to use East Point, FL instead of St George in my directions. It's just east of the st George bridge, which was perfect for us. Once we figured that out it was fine. I did have some problems clarifying this confusion since it's managed by a company and not an individual host. Just something to keep in mind. Aside from that the stay was perfect and we would definitely book again.

Misleading, the lot appeared to be on the bay, failed to state that a major highway was between the property and the bay. Not the best neighborhood. Much needed deck works done the entire home swayed with minimal movement.

Beautiful view but some issues

We really loved the house. The view is amazing. We had a couple of issues during our stay. The guest toilet did not work at all, the arm inside the tank was broken. The upstairs loft had roaches and spiders so no one could stay up there. And the kitchen had ants. The internet was terrible. We brought a fire stick and it would not connect, nor would our phones or tablets. So we had no tv or internet the entire stay.

Great bayside location

This property is very close to SGI. A 15 minute drive and you are on the beach. The kitchen is minimally stocked so bring everything you think you’ll need. We had to buy paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper to get us through 4 days. The property is owned by a company, so the house isn’t stocked with any personal things- like beach gear, fishing poles, etc.. we read that somewhere on here and were prepared with all of our gear. The bugs outside are insane. They will carry you off. Bring all the bug gear- candles, torches, spray, bracelets- all of it. No bugs inside though, so that’s what counts:) The beds were comfortable enough. We slept well. The AC works great!
