"We had a very pleasant 3-night stay at the QT Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to an executive room which was spacious and comfortable with interesting decor. Our one in-room dinner, and the lunch and afternoon tea we had in The Parlour restaurant downstairs on the ground floor, were all very enjoyable. Cleanliness of the room was good, the only problem being that water from the shower splashed out over quite a bit of the bathroom floor...

"Big, clean and well-furnished room with a beautiful view of the city, with the sea in the background. Only 5-10 minutes or so by cab from the CBD, and 15 mins to Flinders Station by tram - the stop is less than a minute's walk away. It was very handy to have a kitchenette in the room. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, reasonably priced with friendly staff. I stayed in three hotels in Melbourne, and this one was my favourite, even though it's not directly in the CBD. "
