The name of the house was slightly misleading, as although you had a bit of a view of the Marina from the side window, in fact the outlook directly opposite the house was the cemetary. Having said that, it was an ideal location for exploring the IOW. Secure garden for our little dog. Well equipped kitchen. Great to have an en-suite bathroom. Good to have a fob to gain access to the Marina, but The Lifeboat pub was very disappointing for us. Both of our meals were crucified, and upon pointing this out to the manager, she stated "I have no ability to offer a reduction in the bill". Astounding! Also, as we were seated outside, we were told we had to have our starter and main courses served at the same time - bizarre. Bembridge was brilliant for walking our dog. In fact, we should have researched a bit more before booking the IOW as most beaches were out of bounds for dogs at the time we visited.
