"Friendly staff greeting. We were upgraded and had an excellent sea view. Hotel is old and showing its age in places but for the money it was excellent value. Great location near to train station and local restaurants and pubs."
"We stayed at the Norbreck Hotel for 7 nights and we had avery enjoyable stay. We had a wonderful view of the sea from our hotel window. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing that you asked of them was too much.

"Just a one night away trip with a couple of days coastal walking. Very smart pub with rooms. In a superior room with high quality fixtures and fittings, very comfortable. Staff all very friendly with an excellent dinner menu and very good breakfast. Only minor issue was how quick dinner service was - would have preferred to have spent longer over our meal. Starter arrived very quickly and the main arrived before we had even finished our starter ! As I say however a minor issue in the overall...

"We had an excellent stay whilst attending a concert at the open air theatre. The room was clean with everything you needed, a well stocked tea and coffee tray with biscuits and two bottles of water. There was also toiletries in the bathroom although we used our own. The bar itself was great, lovely choice of drinks and food. Great band were playing on the Saturday night, great friendly atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was first class, lots of choice and well cooked. We wouldnt hesitate...
