This stunning three-bed and two-bathroom lake home is more than just a vacation rental; it's a place to reconnect with loved ones and friends while sharing meals, watching a movie, or telling stories around the campfire. There is parking for four (4) vehicles in the circle drive.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Outside, near the dock, there are kayaks, canoes, an oar boat, and a floating swimming dock. Enjoy smores and storytelling at night at the firepit - cozy firepit blankets and s'more sticks are provided! The garage is open in the summer and holds water noodles, rafts, and sand toys, with extra room for whatever you bring. There are many board games for family game night. A fully equipped kitchen, linens, and an outdoor grill are provided. There is a ramp from the driveway to the entry door, and the main floor has a large bath with an extra wide doorway. The covered porch wraps around the deck overlooking the water. The home has AC, a Smart TV, and a wood-burning fireplace.

DOG FRIENDLY:
This home is dog-friendly, so enjoy your vacation with your furry friend! We allow up to 2 dogs for $40/day (a maximum of $250 per stay). Just select the pet option when booking your stay. Pets MUST be crated if left alone. NO EXCEPTIONS. Guests are responsible for their pets while on the property, including any damage caused by them.

LAKES:
Meta Lake is a 175-acre full-recreation lake known for great fishing, including panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and walleye. The property is flat, and you can easily get from the parking area to the lake and dock without stairs. This home is near boat launches on the 28 Chain of Lakes; however, there are no public boat launches on Meta Lake.
TRAILS:
This home is near 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. ATV/UTV riders can cover a variety of terrain in the area, from paved roads to dirt routes. Enjoy hiking in the nearby Nicolet National Forest. Check out the "Map It Vilas County Trails App" to navigate all the trail systems for any sport - snowmobiling, ATVing, cross-country skiing, biking, and hiking.
THE AREA:
Porch in the Pines is located on Meta Lake between downtown Eagle River and Three Lakes. Officially recognized as the Snowmobile Capital of the World, Eagle River is a haven for winter sports enthusiasts with a massive network of off-road trails to explore and recreation facilities galore. In the heart of Wisconsin's 28 Chain of Lakes region, endless ways exist to enjoy time out on the water. Packed with small-town charm, downtown Eagle River offers many shops and restaurants to explore close to home.

There is a ramp to the front door, and the walk to the lake is level.

Shorter stays and flexible check-in and check-out days are permitted for the rest of the year.
