Hotel i Durham bymidte, Durham

"Er is hier sprake van een gezondheids risico. De kamer, en vele andere, heeft een raam welk opent op een binnenplaats. Er zijn twee gigantische extractie ventilatoren, dus lawaai. Erger nog is de lucht in de binnenplaats: dit is vol met auto uitlaat gassen, afkomstig van de parkeergarage. Dit lucht komt in de kamer bij openen van het raam."

"Fantastisk sted med god beliggenhed"

"Alt godt "

"Room was comfortable (e.g. bed, warm) had all one required and a reasonable shower. Staff very helpful before and during stay. Parking very handy considering how close one is to the centre of Durham. Excellent choices of breakfasts. Well worth the cost. It was also quiet, considering how near the centre it is and in spite of the storm."

"An 8 day stay. Welcoming staff. Dark and rather dismal room with no drawers, safe, mini fridge, towel racks or comfortable chairs. Lack of hoovering and dusting in our room. Fantastic situation. Free parking."

"OK - for en nat. Morgenmad for utilstrækkelig og dyr -- tallerkenserveret"

"Clean room, helpful staff. Good breakfast options"

"Good size bedroom, excellent breakfast, great staff"

"Ample parking. Amazing breakfast. Great views"

"Good value for money. Very busy over the last couple of days so it took over forty minutes to get our order taken for breakfast on Thursday - which came without the veggie sausage as stated on the menu. I would probably skip the breakfast in future."

"VOor het ontbijt iets van plakjes kaas of zo erbij"

"Better than expected. Don’t write off these hotels. Way nicer than many upmarket properties out there."

"Fantastic"

"First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left. We found the hotel lacked character, everything about it was functional and not interesting. This extended to the breakfast, our experience of which was behind not eating supper there. This is not a criticism of the hotel, it is my view. Based on reviews I expected a little more than we got....

"This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August."
