Our pet friendly 3 bedroom (Plus Loft), 3.5 bath, 2,200 square foot townhome is located just across highway 550 from Purgatory Resort and is 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less than a 30 minute drive).

Enjoy the convenience of being at the ski resort, yet the additional space of a townhome with a two car garage. The resort is both an amazing winter playground, and offers a wealth of all your favorite mountain activities in a cool and comfortable summer climate at 8,900 feet in elevation.

The home is perfect for multiple families as it features two living spaces on different floors as well an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, high end appliances and great views. There are 5 TVs in the house (each bedroom and both living spaces) and the main living space and master bedroom both feature gas fireplaces. The large deck and hot tub with unobstructed views make this property perfect.

The home is located near the Purgatory Flats trail head, one of the finest and most scenic hikes in the area as well as a stocked pond for fishing/paddle boarding and a playground and in winter, there is a cross country ski trail right close by. The home is adjacent to over a million acres of national forest land and backs one of the finest hiking trails in the area. Unlimited adventures await in the incomparable San Juan National Forest with walking access to three watersheds with abundant trout and extraordinary vistas of the Needles Mountains.

Main Bedroom - King Bed with TV and Ensuite Bath (Main Floor)
2nd Bedroom - King Bed with TV and Ensuite Bath (2nd Floor)
3rd Bedroom - 2 Double Beds with TV (2nd Floor)
Loft - Bunk Beds (single over single) with TV (2nd Floor)

The home is pet friendly (1 dog only max 25 pounds) and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).

4WD is NOT required in the winter with easy paved access off Highway 550.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
