"We had a really nice stay. It was great for dog owners, being on the path and next to the river. The river running by drowned out traffic noise. My only complaint was the bar/restaurant. The ambiance and staff were great, but the food was not great and overpriced. "

"The General Palmer Hotel is a special historic hotel. Beautiful and comfortable in all areas. A few things that would make this hotel excellent would be in-room coffee, complimentary water bottles in room, and more or brighter lighting in the rooms. There was not a smart tv in the room but for us it was a minor issue. Beds were very comfortable and the decor matched the feel of the historic hotel. "

"We had the best stay at this Old but maintained Budget Inn, worked perfectly for us. The manager John was amazing, very helpful and kind, and we made good conversation. Thank you so much, we wish you all the best. "

"My room was nice and near the office. The room was clean and stocked with coffee as well as microwave and fridge. That was perfect for me. The lobby had a very limited continental breakfast. I wished the windows would stay open to let in the fresh Colorado air. Oh and the water was nice and hot and good water pressure too."

"The first thing we see, when we arrive, is that the pool is closed due to renovation. We had picked the hotel because it had a pool. The room is clean but very old and defaulted. There is a one inch gap between the floor and the outside door, so it feels like sleeping in a tent next to a busy road. There was also a gap under the door to the other room, and with that and paperthin walls, we could hear everything our neighbors said and did. The windows were so dirty that they were almost orange....

"This was a very nice hotel in Durango - near the city center. The receptionist was very helpful and the room was quiet and roomy for three people. Beds were nice and the room and bathroom was clean. "
